Ocean Front Villa with pool, Zanzibar

The place was exceptional we were very happy about the choice i would recomand for couples. Breakfast was very good nextdoor.

Unfortunately my family and I didn’t have a good experience. We weren’t informed there was a fire few houses away which damaged the power for the area and we were told instead that it was due to rain. We settled for having the generator however the AC didn’t have enough power for it. Basically half the house had power with the generator only. The host needed to refill every few hours and on the second night she contemplated not refilling and leave us without power. We had to ask for a refund for them to take action and call an electrician. We were the only hosts in the resort so the common pools were empty or out of use. The house pool was so bad that my husband and daughter ended up with ear infection and my son with very sore eyes for days. There was no daily cleaning, they didn’t even offer a broom for us to clean ourselves, they asked we turn off all switches when going out to save them power which I find makes the experience stressful when you try to save money on bills to the host. There were worms like falling off the roof in the bedroom upstairs and the mosquitos were everywhere as some windows didn’t have mesh so we got stings all over our bodies. Ania the “manager” is nice but she came to greet us the first time braless nipples obviously visible and I don’t think she sees this as wrong but I think it’s in appropriate. After my review was posted the owner contacted me and said he didn’t think the review was fair, blamed us for the infections all four of us got from the pool and even brought up the storm in Dubai and the sheikh into the conversation. I think the owner needs to match the price to what they are really offering. This is NOT A RESORT

Spacious Villa with very friendly and helpful staff! The restaurant make amazing food and make you feel like family! Highly recommended.
