"Perfect cottage in a perfect location."

10.0

The cottage is amazing. A great mix of all creature comforts, while still maintaining a rustic feel. The views were stunning and is a perfect location, just off the main Ring so it's peaceful and quiet. I think we both slept for an extra 2 hours as it was so relaxing a place. Ritchie was a great host, made sure we had everything we needed and gave some recommendations as to where to walk our dog too. The bread and marmalade was a very nice touch and very much enjoyed!

Nothing not to like! For us, is was absolute perfection. The only thing we didn't like was the fact we didn't stay here longer!

Picturesque. What you think of when you dream about the Irish countryside. Clean and well stocked with towels and bedding. Ritchie was sweet to checked in on us and give us recommendations about town.

We loved the welcome brown bread & butter & jam! Beautiful views. Cute sheep & horses nearby.

Drain a little slow in shower. Would have loved some turf to burn! Towel rail in shower was very hot.

"A lovely stay in this charming little cottage and look forward to our next visit to 'The Cottage'"

10.0

We loved everything about this charming little cottage, location was easy to find with GPS and the views were stunning. Keys were in the door on our arrival and we were met with a lovely welcome pack of freshly baked bread, butter and Skellig marmalade on the table to kill the hunger pangs after a long drive. The heating was on the whole time which gave a lovely cozy feel to the cottage, credit to the owner for this. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to cook a meal and there was always plenty of hot water in the taps.

A couple of minor issues we found was there was no lock on the bathroom window, we were able to close the window tightly from the outside and it didnt bother us on our stay but it may bother other guests. Second issue was a couple of high bumps/ low dips on the driveway, you need drive super slow while entering and exiting the property. We caught the underside of our car a few times coming in and out. Again not a huge issue and maybe our car is lower than other cars but something to watch out for.
