South Fistral Seaview 2-bed Apartment

This is a very nice property in a nice quiet area and within a short walking distance to Fistral beach, which you can also see from the property. In fact the view of the Fistral beach is actually better than it looks in any of the photos and you can hear the waves from the balcony, which is a lovely sound in my opinion. Other positives included comfy beds, a nice balcony with table and chairs, a good TV and sofas to watch it from. It was also spotlessly clean when we arrived. Access to the place was easy and there is even a dedicated hut to put all your surfboards in and a dedicated parking space via remote controlled gated access, on the left of the building complex. NO height restriction for cars either, so if you have a roof box you can drive straight in, unlike some properties we have stayed in with underground car parks. Overall this is a very nice place to stay and if you want to be near South Fistral, this is perfect. The owner was also very swift with all his response to my queries which was much appreciated.

The only down side was that we had a few lights out of action during our stay in this apartment, including the balcony lights, which was a shame, as it would have been nice to read my book there in the late evening and hear the waves crashing whilst doing so. The bathroom is not the best either, with a basic shower over a bath. Also having a family of four, it would have been nice to have a separate on-suite for us, as we have had in all the other properties we have stayed in at the same price bracket, in Newquay (and we we come to Newquay every year) and hence not a full excellent rating.
