Byulchae Guest House - Foreigner Only

Great location close to myeong dong station, but far enough away from the very busy shopping/food street. Lots of coffee, restaurants, convenience stores very close. Quiet at night was wonderful. loved having a kitchen and a washer dryer - especially for an almost 2 week stay.

could have had a better supplied kitchen, but we got stuff at daiso to fix that (pour over coffee maker, s&p etc Owner did say they would work on this issue). The wet bathroom was a little awkward to use, as if one take a shower the whole floor is wet, but not a deal breaker in the least. The bedding was different than I am used to (not traditional sheets, but a different cover). Worked but was different.

It was the perfect size for us. We were visiting our son who is stationed in S Korea and although a little difficult to find. Great location, clean, and well appointed. Due to almost 100 degree temperatures, 1 of the a/c’s was having issues. We opened the doors to the rooms and it worked great. They did change the unit. Easy to communicate with would highly recommend!

The location was amazing. We were just a few steps from cafes, restaurants, and convenience stores. We were about 5-10 walk from Myeongdong and the main street food / shopping area. The unit itself was also nice and cozy and surprisingly quiet for how close it is to everything. The owner is responsive and friendly, and the keypad made checking in / entry / exit really easy.

There is a single bathroom, and it does get quite wet after a shower, which is open to the whole room. A better (lower?) fixture might make it easier to keep the room a bit drier. Some of the signage on how to use the heat / hot water could save a bit time, though once we figured it out, everything worked just fine!

Love the location. so convenient. Host also very prompt in responses. The house is spacious and very comfortable to live at.

Very thoughtful host. Thought of everything we would need during the stay, and catered to our toddler as well. Provided a very lovely toddler bed .

Shower temperature was erratic. Also , the uphill walk from myeongdong station was a little difficult but only because we had to carry our kids a lot. But the location itself was good, and we wouldn’t have had a problem if we were just adults traveling
