Fountain Beach Resort - Daytona Beach

The door to the balcony was damager in the lower left corner. There was basically no sound insulation and it was extremely loud at times e.g. in the morning when the rubbish was being collected. The balcony also had a lot of bugs.

The room had a good view of the ocean, and it was a good location, not too long from anything, and they had slips for ordering cheap pizza too, which was nice. The room was super comfortable, and nice that the kitchen stuff was included. They did have a fridge too which was nice. Most of the day staff was pretty kind, and helpful if needed. I loved the tiki bar in our hotel when it was open at least, it said online it was open, but the last day we were there on Sunday is really the only day it had people there or seemed to have people working, but when they were open on Sunday it was a great vibe and nice, they even had live singers & DJ!

The only thing I had to say I don't like that the room didn't feel like it was cleaned very well prior to our first night there... There was a blue/purple press on nail looked like just sitting right by the shower as soon as we got in there (my nails were black - not mine), and the rug kind of seemed like it was not vacuumed or something, because when we would walk barefoot it was kind of dirty feeling, like when you can tell your floors dirty you know? Anyway, it really wasn't too big of a deal, the bed was super clean, and the shower/bathroom other than the nail was fine! The water pressure in the shower was actually really good too.

It was out dated and the rooms had rust on bathroom fixtures big holes in tile!!

Check-in staff was excellent. The room was nice, but the bathroom was fairly small. Nice view and access to the beach

Mildew on threshold going to balcony. Rust spreading onto the door from the door hinges in the bathroom . Fruit flies on/around orange juice dispenser at breakfast. Heat n eat pancakes were gross.
