A cosy hideaway on the Jurassic Coast

Little Combe Loft was perfect for a couple for a short break. It was very clean. The large bed was very comfortable. There were extra blankets in the wardrobe in case of cold weather. The kitchen was well equipped with utensils crockery and cutlery. There is a good sized fridge and small freezer, microwave, toaster and counter top hot plate. The bathroom was clean with a very good shower. I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay. We met one of the resident cats, Boots. He was very friendly. We would just recommend the addition of a clothes airer. As it rained it would have been useful to hang up wet clothes.

The road it is on is narrow, largely single track but fortunately not much traffic.

Beautiful cottage in a wonderful, quiet location not too far from Lyme Regis. Clean and had everything we needed. Loved staying here.

Unfortunately, the mattress was too hard and a mattress topper to soften would be great.

We've just spent 3 night here and it's absolutely beautiful. The hosts have thoughts of everything you could possibly need. If you want a peaceful getaway for 2 this cosy hideaway is ideal. The facilities were brilliant and lovely and clean, bed was really comfortable. There is a park and ride facility close by with the bus taking you straight to Lyme Regis beach - no parking problems 🙂 I would 100% recommend a stay here 😊

Lovely peaceful location. Very nice welcome from Liz & Chris. Added touches of apple cake & crumpets on arrival made it special too.

Lovely property. Beautiful decor and comfotable. Lovely touches on arrival. Wild flowers in a jar. Crumpets and home made apple cake in fridge. Ice cubes in freezer. Lovely welcome by hots who took time to chat and engage with me upon arrival. Thoughtful messages about car parking and safety of my VW van. Really lovely little place to stay. Nice seated outdoor area but limited view of landscape. Lovely little notes around the property stating expectations for behaviour and cleanliness. A Lovely polite and attractive touch.

Toilet flush, not the most efficient . Could do with more power. It was ok as staying with my sister, but worth a look at. Whilst the design of the towels was lovely and modern with the added benefit of beach towels all neatly ribboned up alongside lovely fleece blannkets ribboned up. The towels were pretty hard (not fluffy) but the beach towels were gorgeous. It could have been us old ladies (60+) but we could not work the tv as we do not have netflix or prime video so could not log on to access tv. Thankfully had my laptop so could access Gogglebox on that!

Quite location, owner welcoming on arrival and departure. Don't forget to read the information book to get the puzzle at the end.

Just for us, we found the bed on the firm side. It would be nice if the hedge was a bit lower so you could see the loverly view's

This was the perfect place to rest and have some peaceful time to ourselves. It was great to explore nearby places and come back to our cosy hideaway.

Our hosts had thought of everything to make our stay as comfy and homely as possible.
