Wood Essence Apartment - Cozy Balcony

We had a lovely stay at this very cozy and beautifully furnished apartment in the heart of Coimbra. It’s full of charming little details and has everything you might need for a comfortable stay. The apartment is very quiet, and the views of the old town from the balcony and window are simply amazing. It’s easy to find, and the host provides very clear and helpful instructions.

A very cosy apartment with beautiful city views and thoughtful decoration. I absolutely loved staying here. It’s perfect for couples, especially if you enjoy having breakfast on the balcony. The bedside charging spots are well designed, with dedicated space for phones. The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

The stairs!!!! What a cardio workout. The Booking.com filter shows that parking is available, but there is no on‑site parking. The nearest option is a paid covered car park, which can get quite expensive, especially in the morning due to the nearby Metrobus construction. Communication could have been more responsive. I booked in advance but kept receiving messages from Booking saying the reservation wasn’t confirmed until the day of arrival, so I had to reach out myself. After check‑out, I also sent a message about an issue we wanted to clarify to avoid any misunderstanding, but I didn’t receive a reply.

La ubicación era perfecta ya que se encontraba en pleno centro de Coimbra y las instalaciones estaban nuevas, el apartamento era muy coqueto.

No nos dimos cuenta en las opiniones, ya que en las características del apartamento no consta que es un cuarto sin ascensor, y era un poco complicado acceder ya que las escaleras tampoco ayudaban mucho. El apartamento está preparado para dos personas, el sofá cama es para una persona y cabe muy justa. En general, para más de dos personas y personas altas es incómodo el apartamento.

La ubicación, la cama estaba bien y la ducha con agua calentita con fuerza

Lo que menos nos ha gustado es la gran humedad que hay, cogías tu ropa y estaba húmeda. Además el apartamento es muy pequeño y al ser aguardillado, en el cuarto de baño una persona de 1,80 no entra, yo mido 1,59 y para secarme el pelo me tenía que salir. El sillón es súper incómodo y pequeño, no creo que pueda dormir un adulto en ese sofá, por lo q que el apartamento imposible quedarse 3 personas. El edificio es muy antiguo sin ascensor, así que para acceder al apartamento tienes que subir cuatro planta, algo complicado para personas mayores. En definitiva nos ha decepcionado mucho.
