Beechhill House - London Holiday Home

We loved the space - lots of room to relax especially in the beautiful garden. Very clean and fresh accommodation . Great neighborhood and perfect location too for the train station, the local restaurants and the high street shops. Hosts were super responsive about checking in as we were not sure when we would all arrive and the house had everything we needed and more! Would book again next time we are in UK.

Everything was great - had everything we needed for our short stay.

Large, bright, very well maintained and very well equipped house. We don't miss any utensils for our meals and other needs, such as washing clothes, for example. Our doubts and problems were answered promptly by the hosts, who live next door, which is very good. For those who want to stay in Eltham, it is the best option. Accessible to public transportation (such as trains and buses), and easy access to apps (such as Bolt and Uber), which quickly arrived at the site when requested. Commerce on the High Street is very varied and complete, and Beechhill House is very close to it. We will definitely be back, as the heating is excellent, which is a necessity during the London winter. I strongly recommend it.

Is perfect

The location was the only plus for this property.

The house was absolutely filthy and in a poor state of repair. The owners were rude and unapologetic when approached about it. They insisted that the house was much cleaner than their house next door (which they run as a B&B) so saw no problem with it. Apparently our standards are much too high! Ancient bars of soap with body hair left in the showers, mouldy food crumbs in the kitchen cupboards and layers of grease and dust all over the surfaces, is apparently perfectly acceptable! This is, of course, not to mention the suspected bed bug bites all over my children. The only thing of concern for the owner of this property throughout the whole experience was getting his money. He said if we wanted any refund we had to move out immediately. As there were 10 of us in the half term holidays staying for a week in London, we were left with no choice but to clean the house ourselves and stay put. This is definitely not a property that should be rented out for nearly £3000 a week. Shame on BOOKING.com for even taking on such a property.
