Plenty of Parking Available; 3 Bedroom Apartment by Property Promise

We liked that the the apartment had two bathrooms and that the beds were comfortable.

The apartment was not cleaned properly. We had to clean all the cutlery and dishes before using them etc. The extra bedding for the toddler bed was cleared not cleaned. Outside of the apartment there was a lot of rubbish that was almost covering the entrance. Disgusting! Not enough cutlery or places to sit down on the dining are for all of us.

There two things about the property that didn’t make our stay pleasant ( 1. Safety, 2. Facilities) No facilities as mentioned in the description. We were 4 adults with 3 kids there were no enough toiletries ( no soap or shower gel ) half used toilet roll in one of the bathrooms, no kitchen towel, no wine glasses as advertised in the pictures( just one). One of the headboards broken in one of the bedroom, no heating in one bedroom. Pathetic Wi-Fi connectivity. We still could have better off if we ignore the toiletries or other bits but more worrying part was there was three attempts of break in into the house first was on our day 1 within two hours of check in around 8PM, fortunately there was a chain inside hooked so they couldn’t completely open the door and by the time I could run and check the person disappeared but noticed a person walking on other side of street and upon further observation noticed he got into next door of ours and upon knocking and checking with him he mentioned there was someone he saw tried opening the door and ran away as I approached close to door. I tried reporting the same to the property and they were trying to convince no one else has the code and no body can get through however I wanted them to get the key code changed I was told there is no one available to check until next morning and to manage the night. For our peace of mind We managed to block the door behind with few tables and thought may be a mistake. However to our surprise there was a Second attempt of break and this time it was around 1 am same night and we with three kids were totally terrified we could see two guys standing outside and upon asking what they want from inside they didn’t respond. We tried to check from window and didn’t feel safe so immediately had to call the cops on 999. The cops did turn up in 15 minutes by then the guys had escaped.

The layout and the decor

Fire alarm in bedroom beeped throughout the night. Not enough bedding. Had a lot of rain during he day and due to this there was. Leave in the lounge with a continous drip. Very annoying.

The distance to the arena

On arrival there was multiple black bin bags next to the entrance door, the toilet in the en-suit was not flushed the mugs left out on the drainer weren’t washed properly still had coffee/tea stains no tea towel to dry up. The property has a damp issue peeling paint swollen wood work. Very noisy neighbours up banging till early hours

Great spot! Would stay here again! Amazing value, place was spotless. The beds and pillows were comfy, the kitchen had what you needed, and close ish to central Cardiff

The WiFi sucks so if you need it, it only works in the living area and barely.
