Major's Apartment 3 Bedroom Self Catering Property in historic Abbey

De omgeving was schitterend. Ideaal gelegen om alle uitstappen te doen in de buurt. We verbleven in the Moat house, en hadden alles wat we nodig hadden. Als het mooi weer is s avonds, is het de perfecte plaats voor een leuke wandeling aan het meer. Ook de bbq faciliteiten in de tuin waren een leuke extra. De ontvangst was perfect. Fernando was enthousiast en liet ons alles zien, alles was duidelijk. Ook kan je hen gemakkelijk bereiken tijdens het verblijf, en helpen ze je waar mogelijk is. Ik zou hier zeker terugkomen, het was een super leuke vakantie in 'the abbey'.

De reservatie voor het zwembad is lastig -vaak direct volgeboekt s avonds. Misschien iets langere openingsuren voorzien. Ook waren de gordijnen vrij licht en is er geen extra verduistering in de kamers. Maar laten we dat een detail noemen.

Beautiful property! Excellent and quiet location. Easy access to Loch Ness cruises and walking trails.

Very cosy and warm. Tastefully decorated and has all the amenities you'd ever need. Complimentary tea and coffee. Excellent location easy walk into town. Access to a swimming pool on site and tennis courts. Mark from the property management company couldn't have been more helpful. 100 percent recommend a stay. Thank you to the owner. Part of a very impressive complex

Extractors noisy in kitchen (and next to useless) & bathroom. No door on kitchen & set off the fire alarm in the whole complex. Just managed to avert a visit from the Fire Brigade! Loose bathroom tap & glass shelve, broken floor tile & damp patch next to shower. Needs a little maintenance. Otherwise suitable, but not up to the 4-5 star standard advertised in our opinion.

Loved the location on the banks of Loch Ness and the history of the building.

Photographs make the living area look much bigger and brighter than it actually is. Pool etc run by another company and need to be booked in advance and paid for.

No shower cubicle in en suite bathroom of master bedroom in Major's apartment. Access to master bedroom via bedroom two.

Amazing facilities. It is a castle stay and a great experience for Scotland visit. Clean rooms, clean facilities, host is available and accessible on WhatsApp also. Quick turnaround for requests to iron, pool towels, washing pods etc.

WiFi is not accessible in all the rooms which is very inconvenient. Complained to the host, suggested them to get a repeater for the ground floor, and they said they would recommend that to the owner. Hopefully next guests have better experience.

Very nice apartment in charming old historic buildings. Many activities, including a pool. Short distance to restaurants and shopping.
