Old world charm, modern comfort

Communication and service was excellent from the time we booked. Sam and Ghizlan ensured our stay was hassle free and enjoyable The house was immaculately clean and beautifully restored Breakfast was delicious

Everything was great. The location is fantastic, the furnishings are top quality, the people were very nice and friendly, and the view from the roof was also great.

Nothing really. They do have a very nice woman named Naima who comes to make you breakfast which might be what some people want, but we preferred to just do it ourselves (which was OK for them too).

Beautifully renovated house in the medina, keeping an old charm while providing modern facilities. We were welcomed by our guest at a nearby square and walked the rest of the way to the house. It's located in a quiet side street, but still conveniently close to the streets leading to the main attractions. The maid came in the morning to prepare fresh breakfast for us.

The house is beautifully decorated, a real blend of traditional charm and modern comfort. You can tell the owners and local builders put a lot of care and effort into every detail. The location is very good, within easy reach of everything. Breakfast was tasty and the cook and host were nice and friendly. The host even arranged a little gift for my friend, for whom the trip was a birthday present.

The house itself is stunning and the team was kind, attentive, and eager to help. However, the stay felt overly controlled and stifling. Before arrival, we received a 1,600-word “manual” filled with rules, many in capital letters, which felt excessive for a hospitality setting. While we understand the need for guidelines, it came across more as a list of demands than a warm welcome. Upon arrival, we were informed that breakfast would be served at 9am, with the cook arriving at 8am and staying in the house until our checkout at 11am. We asked for privacy after breakfast, but were told it wasn’t possible telling us that the cook was very nice and guests love her and that she won’t be on our way. This was not the point, we never questioned anyone’s character or service - this was good, we just questioned the privacy we would have preferred. While the team was respectful and helpful, the setup felt intrusive for what is advertised as a private rental. Also breakfast is typically served from and too time, where the guests should be asked what time they wood I prefer to have it not told when they will have it (they allowed us to have breakfast half hour later but reluctantly as if they were doing us a favour). This approach may work for some, but it should be optional . Hospitality goes both ways, guests’ comfort and privacy matter just as much as house rules. A beautiful stay, but not as relaxing as we had hoped.

Beautiful house, wonderful host and communication, amazing view from rooftop, great breakfast, perfect location, lovely decoration and comfortable rooms and beds. You just can’t go wrong with this choice for your stay!

It was a wonderful cozy house with so nice people. We were welcomed with good mint tea and Moroccan cookies, and the Moroccan style breakfast next morning was also excellent. They arranged a half day tour and we had a fantastic experience with the guide. The location is also great and it is located at one of the most photogenic paths in the blue city. You can also see the city from the rooftop.

It was a bit cold at night (it was actually a cold night).

Property not suitable for for people with climbing Stairs in the home as well as approach to the property

The property is beautiful and there’s been a huge amount of detail in its restoration. The location is perfect (very central) and on one of the most picturesque streets in all the town. Everyone from the host, to the lovely lady who made the amazing breakfast - it really was the perfect stay.
