Hübsch eingerichtete, kleine Ein-Raum-Wohnung, die mit allem ausgestattet ist, was man so braucht. Das Ausklappbett war bequemer als erwartet und dank Klimaanlage, Radiator und Heizkörper wurde es auch im November bei Nachttemperaturen um den Gefrierpunkt nicht kalt. Sehr gute Lage in der Nähe des Bahnhof Principe Pio und mit Bushaltestelle vor der Tür, man ist ein bisschen außerhalb des Trubels der City, kommt aber überall superschnell hin.

Das Apartment könnte inzwischen eine kleine Renovierung gebrauchen. Die Schranktür vor der Waschmaschine war abgebrochen und stand in einer Ecke und die Schranktür vor dem Einbaukühlschrank mussten wir erst wieder mit der Kühlschranktür verbinden, damit wir den Kühlschrank problemlos öffnen konnten. Durch die Eingangstür zieht es ordentlich, wenn es draußen kalt ist, aber immerhin kann man den Vorhang davor zuziehen, der hält ein bisschen Kälte ab. Und die Straßengeräusche, denn die Eingangstür liegt direkt an einer Hauptstraße. Weil das Wasser in der Dusche nur langsam abfließt, fließt schon mal Wasser auf den Boden und zieht in die Wand. Dadurch hat sich im Bad ein bisschen schwarzer Schimmel gebildet, das sollte dringend behoben werden. Und die kleine Innenhofterrasse wurde vor unserer Ankunft offenbar nicht sauber gemacht, da lag noch ein bisschen Müll und ein Handtuch herum.

I liked that I had the ability to cook if I wanted to since I was staying in Madrid for 2.5 weeks. The park across the street made my walks enjoyable. Also very conveniently located near Principe Pio metro.

The freezer was completely frozen over making the fridge not possible to be closed without me removing some of the ice. The apartment was not as clean as I would have liked. There were cobwebs everywhere. When I tried to sweep, a lot of insects entered the apartment due to the broom being stored outside and the insects made a home of it. The walls and door are not insulated and you can hear everything. Every night I would have someone standing outside my door having a conversation to the point where I would have to turn the lights on and knock on the glass for them to move. This would go on until 2 or 3 am. The dishwasher was also broken off of the counter and I was unable to use it. The furnace by the front door was on the whole time with no way to turn it off.

Great communication with the owner. Easy to access with a lockbox and phone. Handy location to travel the following day. Certainly well equipped for a longer stay!
