West Beach Condo in Gulf Shores

The condo was absolutely perfect! It felt like a home away from home with an amazing view of the beach! The weather wasn’t the best the weekend that we stayed but luckily, it was just as much fun for my wife and I to spend that time together at the condo. It’s a short drive from the main attractions of Gulf Shores yet just far enough to avoid the big crowds. Rick was quick to answer with any questions that we had before the trip. We will definitely be staying here again soon!

The weather was not the best but that is the only part of the trip that we didn’t enjoy.

Condo 1603 boasts an impressive view from the living room, dining room, and kitchen area. We took pleasure in our breakfast on the expansive oceanfront balcony. While the lounge chairs would benefit from cushions, the owner has considerately provided beach toys, life jackets, chairs, and umbrellas. Although some of these items were damaged, it did not impact our stay as we brought our own. Additionally, the condo offers a stackable washer/dryer, extra pillows and blankets, and a few beach towels. The dishwasher needs some attention as it runs but our dishes came out dirtier than they went in. We handwashed dishes all week. We appreciated the keyless entry and seamless check-in/out process. The only pool, located on the second floor, provides an outdoor space with a great view, but we wished for an indoor pool and hot tub for rainy days. There is also a small kiddie pool adjacent to the pool. The covered charcoal grills were a nice touch; however, you must bring your own charcoal. The public beach access is conveniently located a short walk away, making it manageable for our four-year-old. Overall, we had a pleasurable stay in a clean and cozy environment.

The condo is nestled between the beach and lagoon on either side. Walking into the room itself on the first day was breathtaking as you walked in and was smacked in the face with the most beautiful ocean view. The space was spotless and smelled fresh and clean. Comfortable beds, spacious bathrooms and showers. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, and utensils. Getting to the beach was fast and easy. Less than a 5 min walk to the beautiful white sand. My son used the fitness room which was located next to the pool. It looked nice but we didn't get a chance to swim as we spent our time on the beach. Keyless entry for extra security was nice. The owner always replied promptly with any questions I had.

The $35 per vehicle parking fee. This is just an opinion but I feel like after spending so much to stay there at least the first vehicle should be allowed to park freely.

The location was great and a straight shot to the beach, great customer service with the host. The people there was friends and private.
