Camotes Nook - Budget Beautiful

Access to private clear beach, good pool, very friendly and helpful staff. Location close to good restaurants. Definitely would recommend the place and Camotes in general, so calm and beautiful island.

Wonderful location overlooking 2 deserted beaches with a lovely swimming pool and friendly staff.

A light next to the bed so I did not have to get out to turn it on and off. More hanging and draw space. Most of my clothing remainedin my suitcase as there was nowhere to put it.

Lovely villa complex with super pool and steps down to a private beach. The housekeeping staff are so friendly, kind and helpful. Nearly new scooters available for hire at the premises. The Camotes islands are really quiet and untouristy, with lots of agriculture and small village communities. The Santiago Bay Resort restaurant does good and cheap food and drinks, and is only 2 minutes away on a scooter

The room was a little cramped, with not much table or hanging space. The aircon was also quite noisy, but the fan only setting wasn’t enough to keep the room cool.

Everything. The owners were so nice and helpful and had the two most amazing dogs! We extended our stay from 2 to 3 night almost right away. The room was clean with a nice bathroom. We even had our own water dispenser in the room. Outdoor area was so beautiful and we spent a lot of our time here. Luckily for us we were the only people here, so we had it all to our self.

The hotel was great as the room had everything I needed.owners were super friendly and helpful as I rented I nice scotter from them.the dogs were nice as well. Nice pool and beautiful view as well,WiFi worked great.

There's no free breakfast but the stay is the best I ever had in Camotes. Thank you. I will be coming back, I felt like I was the only one in the area because that's how peaceful it was.

It is beautiful place with a refreshing and relaxing pool, we swam twice a day everyday. Drinking water supplied in the room as well as instant hot water. Mercy and Oppa the caretakers are so kind and thoughtfull, welcome cold drink was a fantastic and also gave us fresh and sweetest papaya and smoothie. The easy walk to restaurants, shops and bakery is only 5-10 mins away.

A HIDDEN GEM indeed. If you want some rest and relaxation, then this is the place for you. The pool was amazing that extends the lookout to the ocean was so serene and peaceful. Secluded beach below the property to walk in the morning or in the evening is great. A few minutes walk to Santiago beach to dine or to enjoy lowtide walks or swim. But most of all, the caretaker Mercy and her husband were accommodating on our daily needs. I love this place...already planning on booking future stay. Great place!!! AMAZING...

If you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing stay away from the crowd, this is the right place. Villa Camotes has amazing sea views, a very well kept swimming pool and lounges, and lovely hosts. It felt like we had the place to ourselves most of the time! Mercy and Oppa made us feel at home and made us a delicious breakfast to enjoy on the terrace every morning, they are both very attentive and go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. The property has Starlink wifi throughout, including around the pool area. Although the villa is tucked away and not in the centre of the island, you still have a few food options a short walk away. One is the restaurant at the Santiago Bay Garden Resort, only 15 mins away on foot and they do very large portions at really reasonable prices. Another is the Backpacker Hostel, located close by - it takes orders through Facebook and delivers directly to the villa so you can eat at home. If you want to explore the island and drive to the centre, you can rent a scooter directly from the Villa. There is a small beach accessible from the villa, which is very quiet and only used by a few locals who live nearby. The snorkeling off the beach is also very good and we spent hours in the water exploring. The Nook room is on the smaller side but comfortable and very clean. It was great to have a fresh water dispenser for both normal and hot water in the room. The only thing that could use some improvement is the aircon in the room (the air coming out is cold but for some reason that room does not get very cold, so you will need to keep the fan on too). The hosts' dogs, Brownie and Hershey, were very friendly and kept us company during most of our stay!

The sweetest and biggest thanks to the two lovely hosts, Mercy and Oppa. They are just exceptionally sweet and warm and made me feel very welcome.
