The Moorings Hotel & Restaurant

The location was amazing. The room was lovely and beautifully presented. We were warned there was no lift, and that was not a problem at all.

Parking nearby could be challenging, although we were fine we often thought we should have brought a smaller car.

A perfect little gem, the ambience in the hotel is just lovely, Mike and Isling and their wonderful team made our anniversary long weekend very special. Our evening meal in the restaurant was delicious, we were looked after perfectly by their friendly staff. I’m sure lots of hard work goes into making their superb hospitality seem so effortless. It was a real treat staying here. Thank you

Nice hotel /seafood restaurant in Gorey. Rooms had nice balcony with lovely views. Kept very clean and owners seemed nice.

Unfortunately it was a double bed ( didn’t realise when booking) and it was quite noisy in bed with the music from downstairs and the pub a few meters down the road. Sunday night was quieter but the Fri/sat was very noisy.

Everything from the welcome, the cleanliness, the details in the room (such as a pillow spray, a range of teas etc), the attentiveness of the staff, the friendly atmosphere and AMAZING restaurant! Not forgetting the beautiful dog also ☺️

We loved everything about this hotel! The view from the room was fab, the room was bright and light with comfortable beds. The food was outstanding! We ate at the hotel almost every night as it was so good.
