GBBeautiful location, good bbq area, dog friendly( we have a Samoyed) (you should ask them before booking with a pet so they can confirm it ok) we didn’t do that but they didn’t mind and they said it’s ok, i think like most hotels they want to make sure your pet will not scratch the place up) They have many places you can relax, there’s outdoor chairs, diferent kinds, there’s a huge siwng with amazing views, so quiet, also 9min drive to a local shop(Penny) There’s also a fire place where you can cook your marshmallows( just ask for wood beforehand) there’s cows everywhere absolutely beautiful ones, ( feels like you are in a small Switzerland village) you can also go hiking up, there’s forests nearby with houses here and there, i think any season it’s beautiful in there, we stayed for 2 nights, it was enough for us, we had good weather, we really enjoyed our stay and i will recommend this lil countryside cottage, it’s exactly what you need for peace and quiet!!
After getting home I don’t think there’s to many things that we didn’t like, but maybe they should have wine glasses made of glass not plastic, and same as the previous review it’s getting really hot inside and you can’t use the last bedroom because there’s sauna in there, you definitely need an SUV to get up top, they also absolutely need an Electric Kettle to make yourself a tea! But this are just little things, you go there to relax and like i said after getting home we really don’t mind this things anymore!
ROROUSMy stay at Raven's Hut was amazing. The pictures did not do it justice. It looks so much better in person. The host, Luca was very sweet and accommodating. He helped with transportation and any questions my friend and I had. It was a nice relaxing weekend and I would definitely visit in spring. Very cute town and the location was perfect! It is about 15 mins from town and perfect to those looking to get away from the bustle and noise.
The technology such as the stove and heating was a little difficult to understand. We tried our best and figured out the stove but the heater was too high tech for us. I know we could have asked for help but we wanted to try and figure it out. I would suggest leaving instructions in English for future guests.
