Dervish Cave House & Restaurant

I have been to Turkey more than 10 times for sure and on resent trips I thought Turkish people changed, became more money oriented and this Hotel reminded me how wonderful they really are, very attentive hospitable and ready to help. Hotel staff was very nice, breakfast was traditional turkish, very nice choice of olives and terrace was overlooking Goreme which was also very nice place to sit and relax. Rooftop bar has a good service and decent choice of cocktails very nicely decorated, you dont need to go anywhere else. Beds were comfortable and hotel grounds are very beautiful. Biggest private car parking in town as far as I saw. Shower has very hot water and good pressure

It’s a beautiful place with the most wonderful people working there! I stayed 2 nights and I wish I could stay longer. I was feeling so welcomed as if they were family or friends! Especially the young beautiful lady at the reception named Sheyda (forgive me if I misspell the name). The cave suite was lovely, impeccably clean and comfortable with a nice view. Breakfast was like a feast on a beautiful terrace, with lots of choices, everything fresh and tasty. The location is perfect, very close to the center and only 5-7 minutes walk up to the view point where I went at dawn to see the hot-air balloons! I will remember this place and this experience as one of the most beautiful things in my life.

The breakfast was great with a wide range of selection. The room was better than I had anticipated and the Goreme town center is jjust walking distance. The hotel is also close to the bus station. Upon leaving - one hostess came to chat offering us to stay in the lounge area while waiting for our bus and helped us with some advise for our next destination.

The bathroom had some leaks water would seep out from the shower closet. Dryer was not working but was replaced when requested. Could have better light setup - one switch for all lights instead of being able to switch off per section.

Staff was amazing, very welcoming, provided information about the area, sightseeing options, booked what we wanted to do. Breakfast was very elaborative with options for everyone. Will definetely stay again when we go back with kids and friends.

Location of the hotel is very convenient. Apartments are quite cozy. Staff is very hospitable and ready to help 24/7. We arrived late at night and there were no problems, they welcomed us and sent taxi. Breakfast is something else , it is really super tasty and you can get everything you want (omelettes, fruits, vegetables, freshly baked borek)

Holy hell did we love our stay here. Highly recommend for off season travel, not only did we get the room at a great price but they gave us a free upgrade AND bottle of wine upon arrival! Great views from the restaurants and public balconies plus the staff at the front desk were just so incredibly lovely, really made the stay special.
