Mulberry Lodge, Felton, Morpeth

Everything, the hot tub was lovely, the main bed was very comfortable and the living room and kitchen were both well equipped and comfortable, the host was amazing and replied quickly with any enquiries I had.

We had a fantastic time at mulberry lodge. The lodge was absolutely amazing, we had everything we needed for our stay it was clean and very comfortable. The hottub was fabulous 👌. What a brilliant weekend and very peaceful. We will definitely be back.

Disappointing Stay – Caravan Needs Attention We recently stayed at the Mulberry caravan and, unfortunately, it didn’t meet expectations. The caravan is very dated and clearly in need of a refresh. On arrival, we found the cupboard with cups was dirty, and we had to wash all crockery and cutlery before use. There were no tea towels provided, and the only towels available were hand towels in the bathrooms and two bath towels in the double bedroom—no bath towels, in the other rooms ,which was quite inconvenient. There were also no cleaning products supplied, and while the fittings for blinds were there, the actual blinds were missing. No fans were provided either, which made it stuffy at times. The hot tub was one of the biggest letdowns. The cover was ripped and broken, with fittings oddly placed at the side of the caravan. The water didn’t feel clean—you could see grime floating on the surface and feel residue along the sides. The headrests were also damaged, which added to the sense of poor maintenance. Overall, the caravan feels neglected and lacks the basic essentials you would expect for a comfortable stay. With better upkeep and attention to detail, it could be much better, but as it stands, we wouldn’t return or recommend it in its current condition.

The site is lovely and we really enjoyed our stay

The oven grill tray was dirty when we went to cook some food, so we didn’t bother and went out for food. The hot tub was main reason for our stay however, the water wasn’t filled to the correct level and was below the filter we went to reception and was given outside of house number to call with no result so we had to fill the hot tub ourselves with buckets to the right level, the hot tub was damaged and the neck cushions were snapped off & just floating in the water

This was a beautiful lodge, very well equipped and maintained. Excellent value for money and would definitely book again.

The only problem we had was parking 2 cars next to the Lodge, other than that everything was perfect.

I think the hot tub could do with having a screen put round to make it more secluded from the road entrance.
