Harbour Hideaway-Cosy & Central

Fantastic location, a short walk from Brixham harbour and shops, bars and restaurants. Very peaceful, with a great view from the window. Clean, modern and with a fab little kitchen with everything we needed, they even provided tea & coffee which we weren’t expecting. Being pet friendly made it even better. A great value for money stay :)

Very nice little flat has everything needed for a perfect stay in brixham. The welcome box and tea and coffee was prefect after a long drive. The view from the lounge window is beautiful at nighttime.

We had a pleasant stay. The view from the apartment in the evening was so lovely. The shower was great, very powerful. Although a little confused with a bath but no taps. Whilst the location was very close to the harbour it is only great if you are able bodied. There is a strong lack of location details in the advert to show how high up & how many steps there are to climb up to the street. The apartment was cosy & had lots of storage in the bedroom. We would return simply based on the very reasonable cost. Welcome pack, very nice touch.

Whilst Josh was great with a few messages of instructions there was a lack of communication whilst I was staying as my messages sent were not acknowledged or answered. I raised a few queries with him. I was disappointed that the property was not completely clean resulting in me cleaning on my arrival. The previous reviews regarding the bedroom blind are still a concern as the blind has still not been repaired/replaced and broke even more during our stay. The entrance really does need more maintenance & cleaning. A handrail to the property really does need to be added plus air freshners! Listen to the reviews and take action.

Sheets and towels all lovely and clean and bed comfortable. View from the lounge over Brixham - very pleasant.

Some of the fabric of the interior has not been attended to for a while - a broken blind in the bedroom, a small hole in the hallway in the wall. Very slippery steps down to the basement - no handrail. I note looking back over all the previous reviews these items have been mentioned on multiple occasions.

Great little flat, very close the harbour and a great base for the week

The bed matress was a little hard, please note this is only personal preference as we prefer a soft mattress

Nice apartment for a couple or single person. Location is fine as long as you can manage the steep roads. Everything you need for a few days stay. Nice view from living room

No hand rail going down to the apartment as its basement steps are steep and can be very difficult to manage with cases and / or bags. The small area to the front door was a little disappointing as the first view you arrive at the door was cigarette ends, leaves, and dirt cobwebs. I did give a sweep while I was there. The other holiday lets next door was noisy and was shouting for the dog, and it felt when they was walking up and down steps they could see through our bed room so had to keep window closed and curtains drawn . Blind in bedroom had a couple of slats broken, but the blind could be used.
