Good location - House is located literally right next to the town centre, literally 2 minutes away. Makes it ideal as you can get the bus to Durham, Barnard Castle and Newcastle amongst many other places. The actual area the house is in is meant to be "rough" but we had no problems at all during the 5 nights we stayed. Plenty of essentials (toilet rolls etc) - This is a massive win for this property, only property I've ever stayed at where i haven't had to go out the next day and spend like £10 to get more toilet rolls, washing up liquid etc House is huge - This house is massive, it doesnt look it from the pictures, but it stretches way back with a utility room and bathroom. The bedrooms are some of the biggest I've seen. Good Wi-Fi and smart TV - Wi-fi was fast and reliable, and a good smart tv meant i could watch whatever i wanted. There is no normal tv aerial signal though so that's something to be aware of Modern House - Most of the house is modern and looks good Washing Machine - It's good to be able to wash your clothes in the house and not have to find some laundromat, not sure if bishop even has one.

Backyard is bad - The backyard is rundown, it's a mess, there is overgrown weeds everywhere and there's a bin out there. Which by itself is not a huge problem, however it's literally covered in fag butts on the top, as non-smokers it's grim. Meant to have a "team" of cleaners. Does the backyard not exist to anyone in this company? Dirty Cutlery - A plate and a knife and fork where dirty, this may be because the last occupant didn't wash them properly. Not sure of their procedure with this. Not enough cupboard space - No where near enough cupboard space in kitchen. Kitchen is a fairly decent size. Not big by any means but it's usable. But there is literally one tiny thin cupboard next to the oven that we had to put everything in. The only other bit of space is on the top shelf of the top cupboard but it's so high it's virtually unusable. No freezer - Not really a con just something to be aware of, i assumed as there was an oven there would also be a freezer, makes sense to me but there wasn't so we had to cook 4 almost full bags of food. All fairness to them though they never state there is one, i just assumed. No Wardrobes or drawers - There is no wardrobe or drawers at all, only a single clothes rail in each room and a few hangers. No where near enough to hold all your clothes for anything longer than 1 night. Meaning most of your stuff is just gonna be awkwardly scattered on the floor. No Dryer - While they have a washing machine they have no dryer only a clothes airer. Which is alright at the moment as the weather us good, but once the weather gets bad again it's gonna be a lot more of a hassle to dry your stuff. Windows way to exposed - This is the biggest killer for me for this property. While the huge windows let in tons of light there is absolutely 0 privacy. Everywhere you go in the house you can be seen.

The beds were very comfortable and the shower was great. It was a good location for walking into the town centre The comfort of the furniture was also very good

The tv did not work,it seems to be missing an aerial so no channels would work there was not enough crockery,there were 4 of us but only 3 cups and 3 dishes,the house says it sleeps 6 so there should be enough for that amount of people It may be an idea to have a visitor book so guests can put their views down for the hosts to see

I couldn't fault the house was clean and comfortable with added extras that were not expected tea coffee sugar plenty of stuff to clean with washing up liquid dish cloths towels plenty of extra toilet rolls and bathing products your bath room was very well done comfortable beds nice white linen we had a really nice stay met our needs 2 Grand mothers with 2 Grandchildren going to see Kynren easy to park and close to town thank you for a great stay

No live T.V but easy to connect to internet ,doggy light switch on landing, down stairs bath room but Okay once we got our heads around it and may I add that it was a lovely bathroom with more than enough extras. only 3 cups and 3 bowls only telling you to make you aware it didn't cause a problem for us only did a smiley face for the host because we didn't meet or have need to contact them , communication was prompt and well informed .
