Ta' Ciangura House of Character

Our stay was wonderful from start to finish. The house was beautiful, clean, and incredibly comfortable, with a welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home. Traveling with pets can sometimes be challenging, but this property was truly pet-friendly and made the experience easy and enjoyable for all of us. The hosts were kind, attentive, and always available if needed. We created some lovely memories here and are already looking forward to coming back. Thank you for making our stay so special!

Les hôtes sont fabuleux, disponibles et très aimable. Des courses avaient même été faites à notre arrivée. L'emplacement du logement est top, proche du supermarché, un arrêt de bus juste devant la maison et proche du port pour prendre le ferry !

Everything was perfect.

Ta'Ciangura Farmhouse is a home away from home! The house is well equipped and has practically everything one requires during their stay. The hosts even left some groceries in the fridge, fresh fruit and biscuits. The garden is beautiful for some relaxation and meditation and has also some fresh herbs to add to your cooking. It also has a BBQ area and the hosts even left wood for lighting the BBQ. The location is perfect, only few minutes away from the ferry and another plus is a supermarket only a few doors away. 10 points for Ta' Ciangura Farmhouse and we would definitely visit again!

When we arrived, we were greeted by the owners, who are very lovely and friendly people. We traveled with our dog, who was also greeted very warmly. Rest assured, your pet is welcome here. They showed us around the property and even left us a little welcome basket full of goodies! They made sure that we know that they will be available to us, in case we need something or have any sort of questions. They also told us a bit about the area and where to find things, which came in very handy. Now, about the house. It is beyond lovely. I cannot say enough nice things! Very spacious, homey, and comfortable. The decor is chef's kiss. It has 2 bedrooms, one of which has a loft that serves as another bedroom. We were only two people, so we didn't really use all that space, but this place is more than large enough to sleep at least 6 people. Both bedrooms have their own en-suite. The kitchen has everything you could ever possibly need. Kettle, cafetiere, cutlery, oven, cooker, a stocked fridge and freezer, pots, pans, barbecue utensils, and so on. I mean, you name it, it's there. The location is great. Very close to the Gozo channel ferry. The village center is less than a 5 minute walk away, where you can find the church, bars, restaurants, and so on. Also, there is a well stocked supermarket literally just three doors down from the place. What more could you want? Now lastly, I want to take a moment to talk about my very favorite thing about the house, which is the garden. It is a little slice of heaven. Our dog just enjoyed the living daylights out of that garden! Plenty of room to run around and play with our doggie. There is also a deck, a brick barbecue, and a wooden table and bench. You can enjoy coffee outside every morning, and a barbecue in the evening. It is just perfect. Oh, I almost forgot to mention, there is a herb garden, which the hosts encourage the guests to make use of. Imagine! Fresh herbs on every meal if you wish.

We had no complaints at all. The owners are as available as much as you want them to be, they're nice people, the house is amazing and the location is great. But most importantly (as most dog owners will agree) our dog was welcome here. This is not one of those places that advertise as pet friendly, but once you're there they tell you: "Oh, your dog can't go here, or there, and he better not bark even one time, and I hope there won't be hair around and blah blah blah." No. Very warm treatment of our dog. When we mentioned that we'll be coming with our dog, they even made sure to mention they have a nice garden for her to run around and play in. So there's nothing here to complain about.

A truly unexpected gem. The house is very beautifully decorated with recycled materials. It was very clean with everything one would need. A home away from home. Hosts were super friendly and welcoming. Fridge was full of basic necessities. We loved it there. A pity that our stay was short. Parking right outside the door. 2 ensuite bathrooms was very convenient for us as we were 2 couples. Room for a large family if required.
