I was very pleasantly surprised that the house was so lovely and spacious and in the very best place for views

We didn’t always have hot water- 8 adults showering at various times of the day- sometimes the shower began hot and ended very cold

Excellent location, in walking distance to Town, no 1 had a lovely view of dingle bay, roomy house ideal for our group of 7

The Bathrooms are really outdated especially the one in the downstairs bedroom, bad ventilation, cold and damp, the shower downstairs was grubby with a dirty shower curtain. The double mattresses were extremely hard, difficult to sleep on. We couldn’t connect the tv to the WiFi so unable to watch Netflix. The open fire was smoking a bit. No hairdryer in the downstairs bedroom.

Location

Machines were ancient and broken (washer and dryer) and were not fixed / serviced during stay so we couldn’t do laundry (which is a key point in staying at a holiday home vs hotels). Were informed it would be fixed but it wasn’t. Insufficient hot water for even 2 people to have showers at any given time. Dreadful customer service - rude and went AWOL/didn’t follow up on issues days later. Instructions on how to use unusual elements of the house (like hot water immersion boosters) were not available/ provided upon check in). Really Kat’s check in time and early check out time. Never experienced this in my life if travelling. Unbelievably bad value for money - should have been less than half the price based on how little has been done to this accommodation in the last 20 years +. Very dated furniture and fittings. Insufficient towels / soaps / products / things to cook and eat with. Only a few dishwasher tablets provided for a big home / almost week stay - such a joke that we had to buy lots of things for the home to be usable. More than like a dreadful Air B&B experience. Can’t remember a time when my family were so disappointed in accommodation.

Very friendly and responsive host. We only spoke by phone but she was great. Beautiful view and great location. Well equipped.

The beds could be softer and soap in the bathroom would be needed ce. There was shampoo
