It was filthy thick dust everywhere and smelt fousty Shower did not work plus mold everywhere on the door seals and tiles black hair in the shower Thick dust in the extractor fan Broken toilet system The kitchen was dirty and other people's food was left in the fridge and cupboards jars of condiments half eaten ,food in the cupboard everything grubby knives forks spoons glasses in cupboard all dirty no dishwasher glasses in cupboard been used and put back in the cupboard the whole place felt dirty and grubby . No windows to open and it was 29° very stuffy and fousty smelling back garden unkept weeds everywhere dying plants in planters and garden fence needs replacing plus ally around the back garden giving no privacy.it was a hovel. The last straw for us was the bed a cheap old pine bed with uneven slats and a 5 inch mattress hard pillows and a quilt cover that was so thick and with a nylon cover plus no sheet . We had you use the top quilt on top of the mattress like a topper but it was too hot laying on it there was another quilt but again a thick quilt it's down south so often a hot place in the summer. There was no fans to use plus windows were covered in plastic so unable to open . All in all it was a disgusting place booking.com should be ashamed to let this property obviously not been checked out and at £110 per night not that cheap but felt like I was staying in dirty BnB We could not stay for the second night as so uncomfortable and filthy we went and stayed at the travel lodge up the road and want a refund from booking.com . This place needs modernising it a disgusting state do not book.

GBVery well equipped, great location, outdoor space, vase of flowers, good quality crockery. Helpful managers. Historic.
The shower needs replacing. Occasionally noise from above.

GBVery nice accomodation in a good position. Plenty of kitchen equipment for self catering which makes a pleasant change. Easy to ramp up the heating. But I think the shower needs a little bit of attention. Only the overhead spray works and we couldn't stop it dripping which means you're wasting water a bit. But overall very happy with our stay.
GBNice attractive accommodation good clean interior option of outdoor space if weather good.probably much better than rooms in the main hotels and pubs in the Town but see below.
I was disturbed from my sleep several times by the accommodation above me .I could hear the floorboards or steps creak as this person moved around .The last night I was woken at 3 am. There is some traffic noise outside in the morning but I accepted this as it is on a main road . The shower dripped all the time even before I had used it and the pressure was poor.

GBFantastic location a short distance from the high street but closer to numerous takeaways and cafes for breakfast, lunch, supper etc. if needed. Evening parking from 5PM out front (just be patient and time it with cars arriving to pick up a take out from the chippy) and short term parking out back to tie you over if/when needed. Fantastic open plan space, comfy bedroom and living/cooking areas with an enclosed back garden for furry pets to explore.
TV struggled with wifi access to on demand TV services but we were out more than in and didn't miss them.
