The loft at Mayfield, Harrogate

Great Location and a parking permit. The bathroom was nice but the hot water temperature was limited but luckily the weather was warm when we stayed.

I had to request the code for the keybox as it wasn't provided. Being woken at sunrise, as the bedroom blinds don't block any light out and the bedroom faces East. Check out at 10:00 is rather mean when check in is at 15:00. We requested a later check out but were told the cleaner was coming at 10:00. This was not true as we were outside until 10:20 and no-one turned up. The oven was in need of a clean, as was the washing machine. Some of the kitchen equipment was dirty.

It was like a home away from home. Very close to the town centre which suited me down to the ground, very nice quiet area.

Apartment is well decorated and in a good location

Bedroom blinds do not keep out the morning sun, woken at 5am each morning, ruined stay! (Bedroom is East facing) Key collection is via a lock box by external front door, host didnt provide PIN for lockbox, despite requesting prior to stay. Checkout time is incorrect on Booking.com website and confirmation - States 10pm instead of 10 am, no flexibilty on later checkout (Host came across as uninterested) Vaccum cleaner, ironing board and clothes airer were lying on floor of lounge on arrival Fruit(starting to rot) on kitchen counter top on arrival Freezer contained previous occupants food stuffs Communal areas untidy and smelt very musty

Location of the property was central and had all the amenities needed

Nice little flat in a good location.

But awkward getting up the stairs with a couple of suitcases.
