The Flamingo Lodge with Hot Tub

The lodge and park were very well equipped and looked after. Certainly a premium feel to it.

Not so much a negative to the property but the booking process via booking.com. As they list property on other sites and their own, I booked last minute, the day before the stay, and the lodge had been double booked. We only found out when we arrived but all check in staff had left at 5 ( it said we could check in until 6, arrived at 5:15). I then had to wait almost an hour to find another available lodge we could use, luckily they had one that could quickly be made ready. The reservation process on this occasion didn’t run as it should, but I suspect this is a one off and we were fortunate to not be turned away due to them being full.

Certain elements let it down, the tv in the bedroom didn’t work, main bed had a defect were as is it was a folding bed but constantly slightly raised so was noisy and bounced when you got on/off (both these noted in comments book), lack of outside table, stains on flamingo pillow in lounge was off putting and should have been picked up, there was a smell of dogs next to the sofa bed

The location was good, and grounds lovely

hot tub was not clean, dog hairs on sofa, kitchen sink dirty

Location , setting, and facilities were great.

Few issues around cleanliness, stains on floor and bedding. Bedroom tv would not turn on due to faulty remote. Decking furniture faulty ( hole in one and minimum cushions) ... found all this after they arrived so after left £200 deposit. Messaged to let them know this is what we found on the night but obviously this makes me worry about deposit.... also says takes 2 weeks to get deposit back which I don't understand.

Second time we have stayed here lovely lodge and perfect location
