Villa Lucía - Benalmádena Costa

Property was spacious, plenty of room for all 13 of us, as mentioned in the description. The owners are 2 of the nicest people I have ever met and they are always willing to help and provide recommendations when requested. Great owners with a great property.

This is such a beautiful home, really spacious and the outside is absolutely beautiful! We had a wonderful girls holiday, highly recommend!

Location

The property, whilst a little dated, had everything we required. It was clean, spacious and comfortable. With lots of communal space for eating and relaxing. The pool and BBQ Area is really nice and was very welcome after a long day golfing. The villa is located a short walk from the busy Arroya de La Miel area which lots of shops, bars and restaurants. All contact with the owners was very positive, plenty of information given upon booking, easy to deal with and any question or request was replied to very quickly. Well done Jorge it was a pleasure dealing with you.

It was a little dated. I know the owners are looking at this, but to be honest we liked the traditional feel of the property.

Lovely big rooms, large garden well manicured and nice size pool.

Old fashioned kitchen in urgent need of renovation which we understand the owners will be doing very soon.

This was a great set up for a large family group, lots of seating and tables around the property with many spaces for sharing and for solitude. There were 13 of us and the property set up an extra bed so we could organise the bedrooms in a way that suited us. The pool was great as was the barbeque and lit canopy area. There were lots of inflatables and games for us to use and we added to the drinks collection after sharing a few of the bottles left behind by others. There are two large fridge freezers (thank you for the ice!) and a welcome hamper which was appreciated! The property was clean and in great condition throughout. 2 sets of keys helped with group comings and goings and we used the recycling bins close to the garden gate entry. The town of Arroyo is a nice stroll away and a large supermarket is not far along the main road. Taxis can't be flagged down but arrive quickly when you call the office.

Food preparation was sometimes a little challenging as whilst there were plenty of individual plates and bowls and a good selection of cooking equipment we could have used more than one chopping board and some sharpened knives as well as more serving plates to serve a large group shared meals. We like to self cater sometimes.
