Maison disposant de quelques chambres joliment décorées autour d'un agréable patio. Un bon restaurant à quelques mètres à pied. Un garage ou nous avons pu y garer notre moto.

arredata con un gusto squisito. ricercatezza nei dettagli. bella biancheria sia da letto che da bagno. pulizia impeccabile. abbiamo soggiornato e cenato lì per due sere . piatti ottimi ( un po piccanti 😅) serviti egregiamente. la nostra moto tenuta nel garage. staff sempre disponibile per qualsiasi richiesta. Grazie.

Wir sind in leider erst am Abend in Medenine angekommen. Da wir erst am Nachmittag mit dem Mietwagen in Tunis starten konnten. Unterwegs hatte ich schon Kontakt zum Besitzer. Hier bestellten wir ebenfalls unser Abendessen. In der Unterkunft angekommen, wurden wir freundlich empfangen. Der Besitzer zeigte uns unser Zimmer und später zeigte er uns die gesamte Unterkunft. Man fühlt sich hier wirklich wie in einer kleine Oase. Man mag es fast nicht glauben, wenn man von der Hauptstraße abbiegt, dass sich solch ein Juwel hinter den Mauern befindet. Unser Zimmer war durchaus klein, aber wunderschön und traditionell eingerichtet. Überall lagen schöne Teppiche und Kissen, es gab viele Pflanzen und einen Springbrunnen. Zum Zimmer gehörte eine wunderschöne Terrasse / Balkon. Wir haben uns wirklich sehr wohl gefühlt. Unser Abendessen war sehr lecker. Es gab ein traditionelles Menü, nur leider war es für uns etwas zu scharf. Das liegt jedoch nicht am Koch, sondern an unserem Geschmack. Hier sollte man den Hinweis geben, dass man gar nicht scharf essen möchte. Am nächsten Morgen gab es ein ebenso leckeres Frühstück: Hier blieb kein Wunsch unerfüllt. Es schmeckte sehr gut. Unseren Mietwagen durften wir sogar in der Garage über Nacht parken. Schade, dass wir hier nur eine Nacht geblieben sind. Sollten wir nochmal nach Tunesien reisen, dann übernachten wir wieder hier.

This place is an absolute gem and a tourist attraction on its own. I arrived early thinking I'll explore the city, but ended up just chilling in this beautiful oasis. Every corner is decorated with love and care. A true artists paradise. The bed is comfortable, everything was sparkling clean, hot shower, fast wifi, dinner and breakfast was great, communication was easy (Dhaou speaks english fluently) and a beautiful cuddly cat Lola. I cannot recommend this place enough - even as a base for exploring Tataouine, Chenini etc. 1h drive away.

This little property is so beautiful! It seems quite newly built, but the care and detail that has gone into the design of the place using local traditional styles is very impressive and unique. The upstairs room we stayed in was super cute, well equipped and clean. The terrace area also an added bonus. Breakfast provided was simple but super tasty. Owner friendly and helpful and spoke English as well. A few other rooms on site also available for booking - and they are also currently extending the property further. There also seems to be a nice little restaurant across the street although we didn't get the chance to try.

There isn't much too much to do in the immediate area, but when we were searching, the quality of this accommodation seemed way above all the other available options in all the surrounding towns (including in nearby Tataouine which was the target of our visit), thus we were willing to go a bit out of our way for this - and it was definitely worth it!
