Villa Lido with pool and garden

Our stay at Villa Mareluna in Lido Marini was nothing short of perfection. Claudine and Oliver are exemplary hosts—warm, welcoming, and attentive from the moment we arrived. They ensured the property was kept immaculate throughout our stay and provided invaluable local advice on the best shopping, tours, and transport options. The villa is a stunning, beautiful home that is even more impressive in person than in the photographs. The pool area is great, and the terrace is a peaceful haven; truthfully, the property is so well-equipped and relaxing that you don't even need to leave the villa to have a perfect holiday. When you do explore, the location is ideal. It’s a brilliant destination for a family holiday, with plenty of local shops and restaurants within walking distance, and a breathtaking beach boasting gorgeous sand and pristine water. We had the most magical holiday in Villa Lido. We were 4 adults and 2 kids. When we arrived, Oliver greeted us and showed us around. The villa was spotlessly clean! It's a very spacious villa, with various areas to enjoy the sun or the shade or the peace and quiet. We found that we could relax or gather together as a family very nicely. The kitchen was well equipped and the mattresses were very comfortable in all beds. We appreciated the mosquito screens on the windows and the a/c. The amazing pool was a real stand out feature, we all spent many an hour in there over the time we had. The pizza oven was also excellent and we had a go at making our own pizzas in there which was very fun! The entirely of the garden area is beautiful, well looked after and calming. Locationally, we found it took 10-15 minutes with the kids to walk to the beach, sometimes we drive as parking was easy out of season. Often we stopped at Martinuccis for ice cream or coffee or lunch on our way out of back from somewhere, this is only 6 minutes walk from the villa. Essentially, everything was fantastic. Oliver and Claudine were fantastic too, nothing was too much trouble and they helped us with recommendations of places to eat, making reservations, cleaning out the pizza oven so we could use it, arranging the BBQ for us to use and generally being very welcoming. We wouldn't hesitate to come back, in fact we are planning our return, thank you for a fantastic holiday!
