Le Gemme di Cavour Luxury Rooms are located just steps from the historic tourist area of Palermo. Simply turn left and you will arrive at the next corner. There are countless good restaurants just a few minutes' walk from the front door. The accommodations are a touch of modern luxury in an old city. Our room was very comfortable and suited our needs very well. I was very impressed by their system for entering the secure building and then the secure outer area of the where the rooms are located and then your secure room itself. Le Gemme di Cavour Luxury Rooms are very secure. Someone would need to get past three security features before they entered your room. While not a typical hotel with staff on premises all day, it was very easy to communicate with someone if needed. The staff also contacted us to insure we were comfortable and that our needs were met. Our room had a wonderful balcony which provided a partial view of the Mediterranean and the city. Le Gemme di Cavour Luxury Rooms is an excellent concept in traveling accommodations, not a typical hotel and not an Air BnB. I would highly recommend visitors to Palermo to stay here.

That we had to eventually leave. Le Gemme di Cavour Luxury Rooms were perfect for us in every aspect. I hope to find other accommodations using this concept.
