Balmoral Gardens - Vacant Nests

Lovely property. Very clean. Ideal location.

The property was modern, spacious, and spotlessly clean. It was beautifully decorated, and the kitchen was very well stocked with everything needed. The bathroom was lovely, and the bed linen was clean and comfortable. Communication from the host was excellent, and the check-in instructions were clear, making the whole process smooth

The listing states that the property has private parking, which was one of the main reasons we booked. However, this was misleading, as the host later clarified that parking was actually free street parking with no reserved space. While we managed to find a spot, it wasn’t directly next to the property, making loading and unloading the car with a young child difficult. The listing should be updated to reflect this accurately.

Really clean, well decorated. Great size lounge and bedrooms. Very good location.

Parking was tight on the street, though to be fair you did not have to go too far to find easy roadside parking. You have to walk through the lounge to get to the loo as no ensuite.

Clean, modern, well appointed & decorated flat. Very comfortable & cosy with everything you need for a self catering stay. Lovely touch was the Christmas tree. A small well stocked Co-op is a few minutes walk away with other supermarkets a short walk or drive away. Close to plenty of amenities in North Shields, Tynemouth, Newcastle & Whitley Bay. Lovely area. The street was very quiet but quite busy with cars parked so no guarantee of parking directly outside the property but managed to park nearby so it was not an issue. We loved the proximity to my son & his family who live a few minutes away. Great communication & clear instructions from Ryan at Vacant Nests. I hope to stay again in the future.

The only issue was the reed diffuser in the sitting room which was pretty strong & my husband took an allergic reaction to it. This has already been discussed with Vacant Nests & acknowledged. A bit more expensive than I usually would pay for 3 nights self catering accommodation.
