We appreciated how the host accommodated early breakfasts for us as well as treats to go when we had a very early check out. They also helped us book a tour to hike Mount etna and gave us good insight which is super helpful when there are tons of options and you don’t know which is the best!

Our room had ants which was unfortunate and the bed was rather lumpy and uncomfortable.

C'est une belle demeure pleine de charme, au calme au milieu d'un jardin d'agrumes avec vue sur l'Etna d'un côté et vue sur la mer de l'autre. Les chambres sont spacieuses et bien aménagées. Nous avons apprécié de pouvoir prendre le petit déjeuner (copieux et délicieux) dans le jardin entouré de kumquats. Les hôtes sont très accueillants. Eva nous a arrangé en dernière minute une excursion sur l'Etna, Julien nous a donné de bons conseils pour la suite de notre voyage.

Eva and Julien were perfect hosts. We had a room with a balcony that had a beautiful view of Etna. Everything was clean. The breakfast was very tasty and the choice was varied. The surroundings are beautiful. Parking is arranged in the parking lot right next to the building. We would definitely come back.

Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Insgesamt eine sehr schöne Unterkunft, mitten zwischen Orangenbäumen. Es gab sehr gutes Frühstück.

Breakfast was OK, minimal by comparison to other Booking.Com locations we used in Sicily. The coffee was not good. Parking was very good but the gate was a big hassle. Overall location was good relative to Giarre and Mount Etna. We used the kitchen to prepare a meal and that was great. The pool and the deck chair cushions were very dirty and the flies made the area nearly unusable. The overall facility was nice and the big old house was welcoming.

Dirty pool and cushions on the lounge chairs. Some automation on the gate would be very helpful. We found parking in Giarre Centro to be nearly impossible making it very hard to find a good restaurant. One night we were saved by the new Yuki Sushi restaurant.
