Insigma Kuza Villas

My family and I stayed here for a week during the holidays. The property itself is beautiful, and the housekeeper was lovely. We loved that we were super close to the pool which made morning swims easy. We hired a chef during our stay there and the kitchen was fully equipped that we only had to buy our own food. The property is within an estate and to our surprise it wasn't too busy and most times we were the only ones at the pool. I would recommend hiring a vehicle or bringing your own means of transport as the nearest beach is quite a distance from the property.

The only trouble we had was in communicating with the host before our arrival. Even though we had reached out earlier to know if it was possible to get a chef, there was almost no communication from their end. We were anxious that we had not received any information about the check in process and the actual location of the property before the day of our arrival. We even reached out to booking.com who were also unable to reach the host. The host only reached out 15 minutes before check in time, which was nerve-wracking considering we were travelling from Nairobi and had already contacted them multiple times, several days before our trip. We also lost power one of the nights for about 15 hours while we were on the property and the housekeeper was unable to resolve the issue for us until the next day. We had to brave the heat and rely on open doors and windows throughout the night, which was a recipe for disaster due to the mosquitos.

Overall stay was great, the rooms were amazing and well stocked, Christine the hsekpng lady was very kind and helpful

They didn't have any welcome drink /water upon arrival for us which even after requesting I was told it will be delivered which they never did, not welcoming at all. The water on the taps went off on our last morning just before we checked out 🙆

Felt like home...very family oriented. The kitchen was fully equipped and the kids enjoyed the pool..The staff were amazing too Christine and Grace.. liked the fact there was a mall nearby. Overall it was an amazing stay. will definitely be back.

The househelp at kuza was so good especially to my 2 kid of which they're always shy,she managed to ease them and blended so well day one, The host was super helpful,despite us booking a day before we got there ,she responded immediately,gave us the plan . I would say every shilling counted My family was happy at kuza,anyone going for a vacation try kuza is the best

Enjoyed its comfort – the interior design choices complement the spacious villa beautifully. The sunsets from the rooftop were as stunning as they come.

The place is nice and clean. Specious, with ac. All you need really. All is new. Beds and comfy. Rooms are comfy. It’s really amazing. It does look like on pictures. The gated community is also safe. Pool is nice, however it was a bit sad you can use it in the evening (property rules). The price is a steal, so it’s a good option to enjoy your holiday. But you need a car as a beach is very far away.

Some power issues, if you want to switch on microwave the whole house cuts of power. Lack of information (like cleaning hours, places around etc). We found cleaning ladies nice, but at the same time with a bit of mood swings. You ask them “What is your cleaning schedule?”. They say “24/7 whenever you need”. Ok, then you ask them to clean dishes after lunch and they will look grumpy.

It was serene, peacful, quiet and clean. A very well equiped kitchen. The showers were great, good pressure and pleanty of warm water round the clock. The housekeeping lady was polite and helpful. Generally a well maintained unit.

The tissue paper was substandard. Literally grey in colour, disintegrating.

The house is within a quiet estate. This was very important for us because we were looking for a very relaxed break. The price point was also very good for us.

The fact that the beach is quite a drive from the property. I love the ocean and love to hear the waves as I sleep. For this reason I probably choose a different house from their other various options.
