A short disclaimer: as soon as we arrived at night, the first impression was not great because right beside the property there is a very rough-looking building and it was a bit dark. But it was just a first impression from the neighboring structure. The property itself is very clean, cozy and comfortable. The hosts, a son and a mother (and whisky, the dog), are very attentive and kind, and did everything in their power to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The rooms are big and the beds super comfortable. Breakfast is simple but good quality items, such as fresh croissants and fruit. Moreover, the amenities were all well chosen. Giovanni was kind and helped us secure a dinner reservation at a fantastic place in Sorano, a town nearby. He was also accommodating to a late check in and very helpful with everything. Plus, whisky the dog was a lovely bonus to our stay.

We took the two bedrooms but there was only one electric heater for both. It was not a problem as there were extra blankets and covers for both rooms, but something to keep in mind if you get easily cold. Shower was good, but not too big - again, not a problem for us, but for bigger individuals it might be, so it is something to consider.

We loved the beautiful cascina and Giovanni and her mother were very welcoming and helpful. We got the possibility for late check in which we really appreciated. The rooms were clean and very comfortable and nice. We had a nice breakfast in the morning and enjoyed looking at beautiful ceramics made by Giovanni which decorated the kitchen. Also Whiskey and Ruddy , the furry members of the family,were very friendly and nice.

Giovanni and his mother are lovely and welcoming people. Beautiful and clean house.

Perfect place to stay! Hosts are amazing and the area around is beautiful. The room is big and clean. 100% recommended!

Very nice and friendly host, excellent breakfast, nice and clean rooms in an impressive house that is over 200 years old and beautifully refurbished.

Giovanni is the friendliest host imaginable. Gave us valuable tips and assisted in everything we asked. He was always available and so was Whisky, his cute cuddly dog. Great coffee in the morning. Giovanni's recommendations regarding nearby restaurants hit straight to the target.

The room is large, comfortable and has its own shower and toilet, but it requires going up a staircase, so it will not suit handicapped guests

We arrived in a very large room on the second floor. Everything was very comfortable and the hosts were nice and welcoming. The place is in the heart of green fields and is highly recommended.
