Sun Flower Villas

Our stay at Sun Flower Villas in Crete was absolutely perfect. The villa was even more beautiful than the photos—spacious, spotless, and incredibly peaceful. We especially loved the private pool, the lush garden, and the amazing view of the Cretan countryside and sea. Alex, our host, was wonderful—so friendly and helpful from the moment we booked. He welcomed us with local snacks and wine, and gave us great tips on where to eat and what to see nearby. Thanks to his suggestions, we discovered some hidden gems we’d have otherwise missed! The villa had everything we needed—comfy beds, a well-equipped kitchen and plenty of outdoor space to relax. Whether you're looking to explore Crete or just unwind by the pool, Sun Flower Villas is the perfect spot. Thanks again, Alex!

The location was perfect - away from the noisy main drag but very close to very good restaurants in three directions. The accommodation is above standard, attention to detail, meticulously presented with fruit bowl overflowing, wine and water and coffee pods on arrival. The towels were fluffy, and the pool was cleaned daily. We had access to sun beds on the beach, every day. We could not have been looked after better. The Host is genuinely personable and friendly and made all the difference.

The villa was perfect.ideal location, short walk to beach, bars and restaurants.It had everything, spacious and airy.Was just the two of us but would be ideal for more...there were actually 4 different outside areas....Alex was a brilliant host, very engaging and helpful.We could not have asked for more and look forward to returning

Very beautiful villa close to lots of restaurants and beach. Nice swimming pool and plenty outdoor areas thanks to 3 additional balconies including one facing the sea. Extremely responsive staff! We locked the door by mistake and the owners son came to rescue us in less than 2min. Washing machine , dish washer etc We all highly recommend! We rented a car and we drive around the west coast: perfect location for this! The swimming was cold due to not so warm weather but we managed to dip in it since the swimming pool is protected from the wind

Our stay at Sun Flowers Villas was wonderful from start to finish. Our host very kindly allowed us to check in early after an overnight ferry from Athens, which was hugely appreciated by us. The house was beautiful and spotlessly clean. The pool was fantastic and extremely clean. The owner, Alex, popped by every morning at 7am to skim the water and ensure it was clean for us. We knew the water would be cold in April, but that didn't stop us enjoying the pool when the sun was out. We were provided with loads of towels, including pool towels. Wine and juice in the fridge, and homemade raki on the table! Dishwasher tablets, washing machine tabs etc were provided. Alex was very helpful and promptly replied to texts. He even dropped off a huge bag of oranges for us, which we took to our next property and had fresh orange juice for the next 3 mornings! This is a stunning house with terraces on both sides, so you have a view of both the sea and snow-capped mountains. The house and the host were both fantastic + we'd love to visit again one day.

We really loved everything about the property, but a couple of things could have made it EVEN more perfect. There were no hooks on the backs of doors, which would have really helped with towels/robes etc. The kitchen was well equipped, but there was only one small sharp knife, which we had to keep washing and reusing. A toaster would have been helpful, as we had to grill bread in the oven. And lastly, Alex very kindly brought us a huge bag of delicious oranges, but there was nothing to squeeze them with.

This a such a beautiful villa! You will not regret booking it!!! We loved our stay here! Myself and my 2 teenagers stayed for 6 nights in August. These are the things we loved about the Villa : 1. It was so easy to find and we were able to check in with no problems at all at midnight after our flight was delayed. 2. It’s in a great location - you are so close to everything, but it’s quiet and peaceful at the Villa! Perfect! 3. It feels brand new, like you are the first guests! 4. The whole feel of it is amazing and it’s so spacious. 5. The beds are super comfy. The upstairs bedroom has 2 balconies (one with a stunning view) and the bedroom downstairs a great outdoor area off it. 6. The pool is fabulous and 5ft deep! 7. When we stayed there were toilet rolls, washing up stuff and laundry detergent galore! 8. It’s less than a 5 min walk to the nearest restaurant, about 5 mins walk to the beach and many shops/restaurants! 9. It’s a great base for exploring the west of Crete. We drove to Falassarna in an hour, Plakias in 1hr 30, Lake Kournas in an hour, Chania Old Town in 20 mins, Bali in 1hr 30 and Therisos Gorge in 20 mins! 10. Oh and the hosts are INCREDIBLE!!! Attentive, super friendly, beyond helpful and just lovely lovely people! Thank you Alket! We LOVED our stay at your villa!!!

The villa is perfect!! Spacious, clean, well designed. The pool is being cleaned every other day. Neighbourhood is quiet and located just a couple of minutes from Chania. Everything was amazing but what’s most important, Alex is one of a kind host!! His hospitality and engagement makes a difference. He is really up to your expectations! Great person !!! 👏👏👏 Real pro!! We booked both properties for two families for a week. The villas are brand new and absolutely stunning. Spotlessly clean, and plenty of towels, including pool towels, which is great for packing light. The beds are very comfortable, the pool is lovely, the sunbeds are the best we've had. The villas have plenty of space, and are well equipped, each has its own parking space. The location is within a short walk of a large choice of restaurants, which were also good value and the beach is also really close. The owner was super helpful and friendly. We rarely return to the same place twice, but we'd make an exception for this place. 10/10 - highly recommend

I liked that we were welcomed by the owner of the villas personally. He was very helpful and also provided us some information about facilities nearby. The villa is brand new and we were one of the first guests. They are very well furnished and nicely decorated and we had everything there that we needed. The beds are very comfortable and the pool outside is super nice. It is very nice that you can enjoy the garden and the pool where you have a nice mountain view as well as have a terrace with seaview. The villas are very well located and nice beaches and several restaurants and cafes are in walking distance of Agia Marina. Although we had a car, we saw that the bus stop is also very close (approx. 5 min. walk). For us it was the best stay - quiet and outside of the city of Chania, having amenities in walking distance and being able to be in the city of Chania within about 10-15 min drive by car.
