The view of Los Gatos and being in such an exclusive neighborhood was wonderful.

The drive up was dark and gnarly in terms of turns and hard to find the place.

Risky road, messy outdoor furniture & unkempt, no instructions for outdoor heaters or grill, no fan or working heater, soap dispensers did not work in kitchen or bathroom, old dirty kitchen sponge, bed against wall so had to climb over partner, low pressure bath sink, limited dishware, old condiments, old used soaps & shampoos. Tiny wooden chairs inside, nothing comfortable, uncomfortable pillows & bed. No Wifi. Had to clean outdoor furniture to use it.

The view was spectacular and the bed so comfortable. I would have liked if there was a kettle there to make some tea but overall the amenities are great with a very cool aesthetic. Getting to have breakfast while overlooking Los Gatos & the bottom of San Francisco bay was really lovely. The smart TV, which I initially thought was a mirror, was a very nice touch for hanging out in the evening & watching a film.

The road up is terrifying. If you're a nervous driver I won't advise it, the views are great but I am so glad I didn't need to drive to the location. The location is private, with self check in & out, however there will be people who live there passing by your windows so be sure to pull the curtains if you need to change just in case.

The deck was attractive. Problems with it: deck furniture was covered in pine needles and there were three places with no rail to prevent guests falling over a very steep hill several hundred yards long. Extremely dangerous.

This is just a small shotgun-shack-style studio apartment alongside an expensive private home on a mountainside. It is not any kind of hotel or resort, and I can’t understand why it’s on this website. It should be listed on Airbnb. There were a number of shortcomings that made us too uncomfortable to stay. Getting to the property required a steep, dangerous, terrifying drive more than a mile uphill on a twisty one-lane road. Very confusing and ungrammatical driving directions were given by the host through the rental app, and we had to backtrack twice on the narrow road to locate the property, using the driveways of private mountain properties to turn around and praying not to be hit by other drivers on the narrow, winding road. The passenger in our car had a panic attack. On arrival we discovered there was no fence around the back of the property, which leads directly to a very large forested area on a steep, unlit hill. Scary! When we arrived the toilet paper roll was almost gone. We were given no Wi-Fi code, no instructions for the TV, no welcome note in the room. There was no manager or homeowner on the property. We were uncomfortable and afraid to stay, so we drove back downhill before the sun set and found a safe hotel with locking doors and security staff. We feel misled, endangered, and sorrowful.

Very beautiful location. Cozy and comfortable accommodation and mesmerizing views .
