The Granary at Pannels Ash Farm

Warm welcome. Beautiful cottage with great facilties and a fabulous collection of books, CD's and DVD'S. We particularly loved the chess set! Lovely location with dog walks just outside the door. We had a fabulous stay.

We stayed at The Granary for 3 nights and had an amazing time. We loved everything about the cottage and were so surprised how large the property was. We had a lovely gift basket awaiting us with some tasty treats and enjoyed these whilst playing many of the fun board games and listening to some of the vast music selection available. The cottage is perfect for a relaxing getaway . We took our small dog and went on many of the scenic walks recommended by the lovely hosts Angela and Keith. We also found some great dog friendly country pubs in Clare and Long Melford which are both a short drive away.

The Granary had a well-equipped kitchen and contained anything we might need, games, CDs, DVDs etc. Bathroom was well stocked. It was spacious and a pleasant place to spend a few days

The Granary was a beautiful, homely, high quality, well designed two bedroomed space on one floor, which was ideal for my elderly Mum, my partner and myself. Immaculate in its presentation, and set on beautiful grounds with an abundance of wildlife, this property has thoughtful touches throughout. Aside from the attractiveness of the property, the attractor for me was the shower, which my Mum needed, as she has mobility problems, the fact that it was on one level and also that there was an open plan living area, which was just so homely. The conservatory, was an added bonus for eating as a family, and beautifully constructed, with a little 'secret garden' area, which was cute. I loved this property and was sad to leave. With a wide variety of books, CD's and records, stunning and peaceful surroundings, a beautiful area to boot, a week at this property would be one of true relaxation if you want somewhere really special. The owners, Angela and Keith were lovely and very considerate. They live in the Farmhouse next to The Granary, but were highly respectful of our privacy. We loved the Granary. and would definitely return. Thank you Angela and Keith for your wonderful hospitality, everything was just perfect!

Nothing at all, though just for feedback, a lamp or two in the lounge would be nice for more subdued lighting, and it may save on lighting bills too. A sign at the bottom of the road where you turn up towards the property, would also have been helpful, as it was difficult to find in the dark (and probably in the light too!) But really, all was simply gorgeous...

The Granary is in a lovely part of the country and in a beautiful and peaceful location. Angel and Keith, the hosts were absolutely fabulous, they were welcoming and helpful and did everything to make our stay run smoothly. Facilities at the Granary were brilliant, with a well-equipped kitchen complete with a coffee making machine amongst other things. For rainy days there was a cupboard full of games, that would keep anyone occupied; they also provided a vast range of DVDs, and music in the form of vinyl and CDs; and there was a collection of books and maps to peruse. The Granary is tastefully decorated and has a beautiful little garden that we were able to sit in and enjoy the last rays of sun for this summer. It was a super place to stay and hopefully I will return for a longer stay some time soon.

The Granary was very difficult to find as the post code does not take you to the property; after contacting the hosts we were given the What3Words location, which was a more accurate way to locate the Granary. Keith and Angela were there to meet us when we arrived but I think that the What3Words location should be sent to guests the day before or on the day of arrival. Apart from that I have only praise for the Granary.

Angela and Keith the oweners of the property ,were the perfect host. They were warm and welcoming , had great local knowledge. ,and the accommodation was equipped with everything we needed and more... including a full cupboard of board games and a selection of books and records..! The location was great for a country.walk. and driving to local attractions was easy We would definitely come back to stay again..it was perfect in every way

Property was nicely laid out and very comfortable. It had an amazing choice of music, DVD’s, books and games and a private courtyard which was lovely to sit in.

The Granary was an exceptionally lovely place to stay and had everything we could wish for.
