Apartment Cabrio - Gran Alacant

We liked everything and had a very comfortable holiday at the Cabrio Apartment. It was our second time staying here and I have to say that the owners really take all the guests reviews in consideration and are constantly improving the quality of the accommodation. The apartment was absolutely spotless on arrival and had loads of little comfort items added like ; complimentary wine and snacks, laundry pods, toys for children etc. The swimming pool is right outside the apartment and is very clean and great place to cool down if you don’t feel like going to the beach. The Playa del Carabassi beach is about 1 km away and can be reached by taking a one stop ride on No 3 bus that stops near the apartment; the bus stop is visible as soon as you exit the apartment complex gate( it costs just under 2 euro one way) I can’t say enough praise about how nice it was staying at this apartment. We are definitely going to come back here again in the near future!

We were VERY happy to stay at the apartment. It had almost everything for our comfort; comfortable mattresses, towels, well equipped kitchen, good sized fridge, hair drier, tv, BBQ, washing machine…and the most important AIR CONDITIONING - we came with a toddler and it was so important for us to be able to stay cool in August heat - it was good to have air-con both upstairs and downstairs, so our little one slept well. The restaurants and shops are also very close by! There is a Bazar nearby where you can literally buy everything you need , from sandals to kids toys. The swimming pool was wonderful too - our toddler loved it the most!! It was a perfect family holiday!

The only thing I didn’t like was the standard of cleanliness; the downstairs was ok, but the upstairs bathroom/toilet looked like they were not cleaned from the previous guests, and the bedroom floors had dust and hair scattered around. We arrived late and it wasn’t a good time to request it to be cleaned, so I just cleaned everything myself with the products available at the property. I am not sure what happened - maybe the cleaner forgot those areas or was in a rush, but for the price we paid it’s not acceptable - you should make sure it doesn’t happen again.
