La Villa Hibiscus, Saint Martin

It was good. There was a big bed and comfortable. The spa bath and pool was lovely.

Mosquitos and internet kept dropping while watching Netflix.

The restaurant was definitely the worst part of our experience. You couldn't read the menu for dinner because the lightning was bad. The service was poor! It took us two hours to get dinner and it was on my spouse's birthday. Our daughter literally fell asleep from waiting so we just left. Honestly, it was a mess to say the least! However, the property itself is nice and cozy. It's old but with modern finishes and very romantic. My cons are that the rooms are too close to each other. When I stay at a villa I like to feel like the only one there. You won't get that here. You hear EVERYTHING and everyone there is so nosy. I don't think that the price is worth the stay but it's a very scenic and nice property overall.

Breakfast was superb. Freshly baked pastries and bread and a lovely setting.

The suite was a little tired but it was really well equipped.

The rooms are so lovely. The pool and the in-room spa was delightful. The bed was dreamy. The staff are always helpful, friendly, and responsive, even in the middle of the night. The service was excellent. And the restaurant is amazing.
