Royal Mile Suites by the Castle will contact guest directly via email with detailed check-in instructions after booking. Guests are kindly asked to follow check in instructions and self check in at any time after 15:00. Rooms are accessed by the keys which are to be collected from the key safe. Property does not have a reception and is not able to storage luggage for guest before check-in or after check-out times. Access to the rooms is through spiral narrow XVI century staircase only and those with limited mobility should be aware about this inconvenience. Royal Mile Suites by the Castle are located just off Edinburgh Castle and there is no parking of the property. Guests are kindly asked to park their cars at large car park with can be accessed by 7 minutes walk from the property. Limited payable parking spaces can be find near the property. Map with the parking locations will be provided to guest directly by the property self check-in instructions.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties. A deposit may be required at the property.

Hervorragende Unterkunft im 4. Stock! Sehr sauber, zentral gelegen und ein herrschaftliches Flair wie im Schloss. Der Self-Check-in war dank der detaillierten Anleitung kinderleicht. Perfekter Ausgangspunkt, um die Sehenswürdigkeiten und die nette Atmosphäre der Stadt zu genießen. Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt bei bestem Wetter. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Der Weg in die Unterkunft führt über eine anstrengende Treppe. Mit viel Gepäck oder einem Kinderwagen ist dies kaum zu bewältigen. Auch für Senioren oder Personen mit Knieproblemen ist der Zugang ungeeignet und sehr beschwerlich.

Location was very good and staff (via email) was very nice and helpful. Clean and nice room.

The staircase to room was quite intresting but there is nothing that can be done for it. Nothing to complaint for the room itself.

Fabulous location on the Royal Mile. Quirky and historical property. Very clean. Bed comfortable and we slept very well. We managed to climb the long spiral stone staircase to access the property but someone with mobility problems would not manage as there was no handrail ( authentic to the time it was built !)

"Bed was comfortable, you can cook your own meal and excellent location. Just pay attention with the spiral STAIRS!!!!"

Excellent location!

As advertised, for those with disabilities or difficulty mobility the 4th floor isn’t ideal. I didn’t pay attention when I booked, and my mom had to climb the stairs which was really difficult as her age and pain in the knees.

Struttura molto centrale (proprio sul Royal Mile), con tutto il necessario. Camera molto spaziosa.

In generale non molto curato e mobili un po’ datati. Sarebbe utile una ventola nel bagno, che non è finestrato.
