Slick Space for a Standish Stay

Excellent accommodation and great location, just what we required

Great house. Very modern. Had everything we needed and then some. Although we didn't have children with us they were well equipped for when children stay. The back garden was set up well and had a cozy feel.

The property is central in Standish within walking distance to shops, pubs and restaurants. The property smelt clean, was warm and comfy. Lovely back garden for your pooches that looks lovely lit up at night. Shout out to the owner who allowed us an early check in and was quick to respond 😁.

There is a small fridge freezer in the kitchen which wasn’t big enough for our food for a long weekend. The bed in the main bedroom, whilst comfy is small.

Location was perfect for a stop over on our way home to Scotland. Plenty of shops, takeaways, pubs and restaurants within 5/10 minute walk. We got breakfast from the local butcher and deli. Really good coffee and breakfast baps/rolls.

TV signal and Wifi buffered a lot on TV in living room. No bath mat or bin in bathroom. Huge well equipped kitchen but tiny under counter fridge. Ok for two on overnight stay but if you were staying for longer and there were more of you would be an issue for me personally and would need to bring a cool box.

Very comfortable, warm. Most things available in the kitchen. Dogs were welcome. Beds comfy. Close to village amenities but not too noisy. Teething problems with Wi-Fi but quick phone call and all was sorted quickly. 😊😊😊

Could have been cleaner in the lounge. Parking can be difficult.

Great space, clean and tidy, lots of mirrors and plugs, as needed with us ladies! Great communication with owners, would definitely recommend and would book again.

Everything....from the time of booking, to the time we checked out, we had great communication from the owners, a lovely house to stay in with everything you could want. Lovely warm house, well fitted out with comfortable furniture. Loved the open plan aspect with the addition of 2 really big bedrooms and a lovely bathroom.
