No cold water in the shower

Loved the hotel, the location of the hotel and the room was amazing overlooking the Marina and the bridge it was full of life in the evening. The Hotel is at a walking distance from the new Marina and we loved our stay very much. The staff inside the hotel were amazing, maintained clean rooms and they were a very attentive and hospitable team. We loved our morning coffee and the hotel breakfast was really good.

The breakfast has a lovely variety however hotel needs to place a toaster as the bread was stone cold and there was no way to heat it up. also it would be good to serve fresh bread and pastries. Despite being in Egypt the land of Falafel the type, texture and the ingredients of the Falafel served in the restaurant for breakfast is not anywhere near the original Falafel taste, this is something that is seriously needs to be worked on to improve it or take it away all together from the menu if the hotel can not get it right. Again our experience at the Beach club has not been positive due to delay at the beach club entrance as our names were not sent by the reception on the 1st day of arrival and we had to wait by the same person (Saer at the beach Club entrance) until he checked with hotel reception despite showing our room key / guest name. (This is something the hotel needs to address as this is seriously annoying)

I came to Maraasi Boutique Hotel Marina 1 with my family to enjoy our summer holidays, we normally tend to have quite a few short breaks during the summer. we have really enjoyed our stay it was great and this was our 2nd time at the Maraasi Boutique Hotel Marina 1. The location is amazing, the staff inside the hotel in reception and in the restaurant were amazing everyone has been really acommodating, hospitable and friendly and we had such an amazing experience.

I didn't give a full rating due to the poor experience at the Beach club entrance where one of the staff (his name is Saer) has not been friendly or hospitable and on the contrary had a bad attitude. He is a control freak, who is often late for work most mornings and expects guests to wait for him beyond 10.00 am (the opening time of the beach club) until he arrives at his own time to let us in. I have put in an official complaint and suggested that there needs to be a system implemented either a mobile app or a voucher system or a wrist band option to avoid such issues recurring in the future instead of having a control freak at the door who is failing his colleagues excellent service rating and affecting the hotel image. I do hope this will be sorted for our next visit as we do like the hotel very much.
