One Residence Hotel & Apartment

The staff repeatedly tried to put me on the lowest floor of the hotel when my booking said "high floor". I had to fight for high floor, but then it was not the same room. I left and canceled.

Excellent location in the BKK area, with lots of fabulous restaurants in walking distance. The gym and pool were excellent. The staff were very lovely (in contrast to some of the earlier reviews). Our apartment was perfect for 3 people - the 2nd bedroom was a good sized single bed, so check which room you are booking if there are 4 of you. There is a USD100 deposit required on check in (cash only) - this is made clear in the Booking.com terms and a receipt is given. We had no problem getting it back, again in contrast to the experience of some of the earlier reviewers.

Cleanliness could have been a little better.

Rooms were a bit run down. They require full payment upfront and trying to change my booking was near impossible.

Comfortable spacious room with v comfy bed, nice bedding, good bathroom, TV options, laundry facilities a bonus and why we booked as on a long trip, snacks replaced daily with cold beers etc. The pool was clean and nice view onto river in distance and the fascinating construction work of foundations for new big building. Did not disturb us bit was very interesting to look into.

Would have preferred a proper breakfast. Good to have coffee machine and kettle but always like to be set up for the day and skip lunch when hot. We knew about only a coffee and pastry so were not surprised. Not as thoroughly clean as initially looked as marks on sofa cushions and rubbish behind curtain corners. Rest v clean though.

Security was excellent & helpful. All reception staff were friendly & helpful. Good location, close to Eon shopping mall. Complimentary mini bar was well stocked & great snacks provided daily. Reception helped organize transport to next location, competitive pricing range. Quiet rooms, comfortable beds.

Phone to reception didn’t work & shower grate was blocked on first days arrival. No dishcloth or tea towel provided.

Nice hotel. Clean, quite, close to a lot of sites.
