Villa Lydias Walk by Villa Plus

Lovely large indoor spaces throughout. Very good views. Quite area . Very private. Excellent responses from villa plus over broken dishwasher.

Just needs a bit of update as starting to look a bit faded on paintwork . Some outdoor lights did not work.

Beautiful unusual pool. Very big rooms. Lovely views of the Montgo mountain, Jesus Probre & surrounding area. Plenty of crockery, pots, pans, jcutlery, cups, glasses etc. Very nice walk-in shower in downstairs bathroom. Lovely quality pool furniture (sun-loungers & bbq table and chairs) Selection of books games and DVDs if required. Although no car park space was stated on description there was room to park 3-4 cars within the gates.

No air conditioning or fan available in lounge. Large conifers caused lots of debris in pool and shaded pool area early in the afternoon Kitchen tap was loose and worn it needs replacing Front door had deadlock, could easily be locked out One of the keys was bent we were worried it would break Pool tiles were very hot (very slippery too although there were signs to warn you they were slippery- unsuitable for smaller children or the infirm) Land belonging to the villa but blocked off had a smelly stagnant pond near to the balcony area - a likely mosquito breeding ground Some of the villa was tired and in need of some tlc - it looked like there had previously been a leak from the upstairs bathroom through the lounge ceiling that had not been repaired and painted Upstairs windows has mosquito nets but downstairs lacked them so had to risk being bitten if you opened windows No offer of a welcome pack: - dishwasher tablets - dishcloth - dish scrubber - toilet rolls - water - milk I would have paid for a welcome pack containing these items -especially useful if you have a late flight and shops are closed A information pack would have been useful to let us know what days the - pool man - towel change - gardener Would be there to save any embarrassment!! Light bulbs were missing - noticeably one of the pool lights, lights on patio and a few others Although we didn’t use it the buttons in the master shower cubicle were worn/ missing The entrance alarm, even when deactivated still beeped every 30 seconds!! Even though out the night! The two bedrooms we used had very loud to open and close door handles!
