It was an amazing stay. The owner, Javeed, is unbelieveably friendly and helpful. He really takes care of his guests. On top it is super clean and the rooms are comfortable. Looking forward to coming back!

I had a wonderful time at Movie land houseboat. The host was on time to pick me up. The boat was neat and clean. The surroundings were quiet and peaceful. I had a good night's sleep and a wonderful breakfast in the morning. Highly recommended!

Booked for 1 night but I have stayed for week best location well organised house boat. Host has help me for getting bike to go my locations ! Great person great place to stay for any one looking for stay in dal lake . The best part of houseboat was neet and clean !! I will sure come back with my family !! Muse visit movie land

Great view of mountains must visit

Stayed at Javid's boat hotel for three nights - an incredible experience. It looks like a floating apartment with its own living room, kitchen, two bedrooms and an outside terrace for launch. We seek a family room for four - 2 teenagers and parents. The kids were a bit afraid to stay alone for the first day, so we were looking for a room with two beds as a matter of principle. All as on a photo in booking.com: clean, neat, well equipped with everything needed— shampoo, soap, towels, air conditioning, bottled water, a full set of tableware and refrigerator in the kitchen. The interior is an Indian luxurious style with everything is hand-carved, the whole boat is richly decorated, the floor is carpeted. Very tasty breakfast, I especially recommend Kashmiri kava. The owner has honoured every your request - organized a comfortable car to pick us from the airport, made the boat towards the night market at 4:30 am, took us for a boat-drive along the narrow canals, organized a transfer to Lamayuru. We’ve just sightseeing around and enjoyed our vacation. At my request, Javid taught me how to make real Kashmiri kava, bought all the ingredients needed - now I do not have a mixture from a tourist store, but cinnamon, coriander, saffron and tea separately (I will buy ginger in Moscow). Javid with wife and kid live in the neighborhood, so he invited me to his house and showed in what proportions to crush, cook the locals prepare kawa. He is a very generous and kind man, lived in Japan for many years, speaks excellent English and at the same time was born in Kashmir and continues his father's work. It was a pleasure to spend time at his boat. Will miss already this days.
