DOLCERIVA - The Lakefront Suite

Lucca and SImone, the hosts, were fantastic - so helpful, polite and accommodating. The apartment is much bigger than it appears in the photos. It is extremely well equipped with everything you could need in the kitchen including olive oil, salt, pepper, coffee, tea & sugar. There are 2 very big TVs - one in the living room and one in the bedroom. It was spotlessly clean and the towels were thick & soft. Everything was top quality. The apartment itself is in a great location being only about a 10 minute walk into the centre of Peschiera del Garda where there are lots and lots of restaurants: we would highly recommend All'Orologia. There is a small beach bar in front of the apartment and also a restaurant. You don't need a car - we took the ferry to Sirmione and Lazise and the bus to Garda and Bardolino.

No negatives: we loved everything about the apartment and its location.

Though our host didn't share a lot of information before we arrived, he met us, provided keys and gave us a tour of the amazingly clean apartment. There is a lot of space which was great for two families to share. The kitchen looked like it had never been used before and though we missed things like salt and spices along the with utensils, our host was so sweet to offer us a ride to pick up groceries when we struggled on foot. (There are options but it was a little far for small children to walk.) The pool was a lovely quiet space that we enjoyed so much we didn't even dip in the lake. The apartment is walking distance to a number of restaurants and the ferry to see other parts of this beautiful area.

It would have been nice to have a few more things in the kitchen (olive oil, spices, salt, pepper, coffee filters) as well as towels for the pool. Every other detail seems to be considered. These considerations would have made a good stay even better!

Very clean, spacious apartment with all amentities you need for perfect vacation. Great terrace with lake and little marina view. Beach bar and restaurant few steps away. Building is directly next to the Cappuccini beach. There is very nice private swimming pool with hot tub. No private parking but it's easy to find one nearby even in high season. Our hosts Simon and Luca took very good care of our family and always were ready to help. Great value for money.
