Hostal Galapagos by Bar de Beto

Comfy bed. Good shower. Kitchen available. Drinking water available. Close to the flamingos.

No shampoo. I assumed toiletries meant shampoo as well. Every morning at 9am a wind instrument is played very loudly somewhere.

Lovely room and great location right near the beach.

I like that the bar is in front of the beach , place was very clean .

Internet is very bad

I had the most comfortable and welcoming stay here. Everything was close by, the place was beautiful and I slept better then I have in months. The owners were amazing and helped me book tours, taxis and a late check out when I asked. The facilities were kept spotless and I really appreciated the friendly nature of The owners. Its right by the beach so you can hear the waves at night and only a minute or two walk from the best restaurants and bars. Couldn't recommend highly enough and I'll definitely stay here again if I come back to the Galapagos.

Lo que más nos gustó fue la zona en la que está ubicado el hotel. El bar de Beto sí es un sitio de ambiente agradable y en plena playa.

No nos informaron de que había una cocina común para poder comprar comida y mantenerla refrigerada hasta dos días más tarde. Después de todo, los utensilios de la comida estaban en un estado muy gastado, sucio. No daban ganas de usar nada allí. La habitación daba directamente a la calle. Era muy básica.

Unser Zimmer und die Bar direkt am Strand waren toll. Das Hostel ist sauber und sehr gut gepflegt, die Gastgeberin sehr nett.

The location, right next to the best beach bars and restaurants. The room was comfortable.

I didn’t have the internet working the whole time. Every time I wanted to use the kitchen in the morning there was some issue (no gas, then no lighter, then locked…). I missed some welcome instructions eg. about the taxi from the harbour.

Miguel & Edit were amazing hosts. Family run business which was nice. Had an issue with the aircon when I checked in which was immediately resolved by switching rooms. Great to have the beachfront bar and everything an easy walk. Rooms were clean and comfy. Miguel organised my tours and taxis which were all amazing.
