Biltmore Bliss Desert Retreat!

Location is always great with this place and the swimming pool and hot tub are also very good. Nicely manicured property and peaceful.

The condo was not clean. Especially the hall bathroom. Cobwebs up where the wall meets the ceiling above the shower, there were long hairs all over the shower, along with some stains, and the worst part was above the door and on the door casing itself there was thick black residue that came out of the vent next to it that was never cleaned up. I’m guessing the filter needed to be changed. In the kitchen, there is a shorter fridge and I’m easily able to look at the top of it and it looked like it hadn’t been cleared of dust in months. Would be nice if they had a Keurig in the unit instead of that coffee maker they have now. I’ve seen other reviews and other people don’t like it either. Even with directions it’s tedious and complicated. Some people just want to put a pod in and have black coffee. Because of the location and amenities at the property, I would stay there again, but, you’ve got to get better cleaners.

Location great for my purposes. Elevator and garage parking was a wonderful surprise! Very clean and decorated nicely. Beds very comfortable.

Fantastic flat if you staying in Phoenix

The beds were comfortable. The decor was basic but nice enough. The pool was pretty good. The parking & elevator were convenient.

The thermostat was giving a warning to replace the air filter & they told us they still had 30 days to replace it. Turned out there was no air filter in the air return and it was filthy. Luckily we had their handyman coming over to try to fix the overhead light/fan in the bedroom which was broken and remained broken for the our 5 day stay. He agreed to put in a new air filter. Given the extreme 100 degree heat, the AC was running constantly & with no filter the air would have been worse than it already was. All the cookware was toxic Teflon. No other options. The hallway shower has the most convoluted crazy instructions and we didn’t want to break it trying to turn it on so we never used it. The one working shower had major mold all around the edges. We booked because we travel with our cat and I left a detailed voicemail telling them this and requesting a late checkout. We had to pay 100$ for the late checkout which was worth it since we had a late flight. The handyman saw our cat and reported it. They wanted to charge us 100$ per day, saying we didn’t tell them we had a pet. Our mistake, We didn’t request in writing. We thought It’s a “pets” welcome property but you need to request it in writing. They lowered the cost to $250 total. Saying we needed to pay by 11 am the next day. We had no other recourse, so we paid it that night. My Husband got locked out after dropping my daughter & I off at dance convention the next am. He almost missed an important work meeting. And they responded with, “ pay the pet fee” which we already had, when he messaged them that he was locked out. They told him they had no record of him trying to get in on the keypad. He waited for almost an hour to be let back in. They had remote access to the keypad. So we don’t know if they locked him out? The Place smells like febreze. Not the worst place. But too many issues for our family. Left a bad taste. Sad.

The condo was very comfortable and clean with nice facilities. The pool was a pleasant temperature and quiet. The condo is conveniently next door to a supermarket.
