14th Century Medieval Longhouse

Beautiful tranquil spot and a lovely old house. Nice friendly hosts Mark and Honey

Fantastic house in the middle of the countryside, so peaceful and quiet. We wanted to use it as a base to discover Herefordshire, Shropshire and Worcestershire and it was perfect for that. Honey & Mark, the hosts, could not have been nicer, super friendly and helpful. The house is around 700 years old but the interior has been finished to a high standard although it is worth pointing out that the steep stairs and low door lintels (warning signs have been put up) may not be suitable for some people.

Nothing really, a pub within walking distance would be good but if there was one, we would have found it hard to leave the house at the end of our stay. For clarity there are 2 great pubs in neighbouring Leintwardene, a 15 min drive away.

It was the most beautiful place that we have ever stayed and we travel monthly in the UK. The setting was breathtaking. The accommodation was beautiful and faultless. The facilities were great. And the hosts were so lovely and welcoming. Our children loved it there and everything was a short car ride away to all local amenities. Bedrooms were peaceful and the beds were comfortable. We would visit again in a heart beat.

A lovely property in a stunning location. The house has been extensively modernised , but the owners have managed to retain most of its historic character.. A friendly welcoming host. Wr would have loved to have been able to stay more than the one night.

The steep stairs were fine for us but could be difficult for some people.

Lots of character with attractive decor and beautiful surroundings. Very comfortable beds and a lovely modern bathroom. The hosts were very friendly and helpful which made for a relaxed and enjoyable stay.
