"Communication from hosts was amazing and we had everything we needed so it was a perfect weekend !"

10.0

Location being 5 minutes from the top is awesome ! I was pleasantly surprised and happy to see all of the cookware/sponges/soap/spices provided as usually I bring those myself ! The room was clean and had the right amount of everything possibly needed.

Everything really worked out great I don’t have any complaints !

"Relaxing, so enjoyable, and we cannot wait to return!"

10.0

We love staying at silver creek so I can ski the cubb run trail since I’m very beginner. Being able to walk to the elevator and be right where I need to be once I step outside is the best!

Everything was great! Minus the fake fire alarm going off Saturday night haha!

"Nice Room"

7.0

The room is small, but has all the necessities. The kitchen is in good working order and the bed is comfortable. Good storage. Updated and cute.

My complaints are not about the room or the hosts, but I was disappointed with Silvercreek. The room was clean enough (sheets, kitchen, etc. were fine), but there was hair on the bathroom floor, towels, and in the shower, grime on the toilet, and a Cheeto in the rug. I've been coming here for years and was shocked about how rude the staff were this year. From the restaurants to the front desk, they were inattentive and unfriendly. They didn't even offer to hold the door for guests behind them on their way out. The outdoor hot tub situation was terrible. It was cold, so I got out and ran inside to ask if I could turn up the heat (thinking maybe it was a setting). The attendant hardly looked up and said, "Nah, it's been broke, it won't get hot." So... there should have been an out-of-order sign, or she could have mentioned it when we walked by. No one wants to strip down and run outside in freezing weather to get in and out of a cold hot tub. For the short time we were in trying to figure out how to get it going, the water level was low, causing the jets to spew cold water all over. The worst part was when we realized that the water was absolutely disgusting. There were balls of hair, chunks of Styrofoam, and other nastiness floating around. So much that it was stuck to your body when you got out. Needless to say we weren't there long. This was disappointing, as sitting in an outdoor hot tub after a long day on the mountain is something I look forward to.

"The place was always cold."

5.0

Close enough to Cass. Drive time from the location to Cass is about 25 minutes, assuming the driver knows how to drive on mountain roads and has a vehicle equipped for those conditions.

No heat. In the morning, it was 40 degrees outside. 60 inside. The "heater" was one of those combination heater/air conditioner/dehumidifiers. No matter which mode is set, heat comes out one side, cold air out the other, and the humidity drops. With cold coming out one side and heat the other, it has zero effect on heating the room. Meanwhile, its ability to dehumidify the air results in a tank full of water that needs to be drained every two hours. Never mind, it is very loud. About the same as having a small gasoline engine running next to the bed. My advice is to go to Menards and get one of those milk house electric heaters. They use about as much power per minute as the heater/air conditioner/dehumidifier, but without drying out the air and kicking out cold air. Trouble is, I don't believe there are any Menards east of Ohio.

"Great price, good room, location was a bit out of the way for our event"

Price was great.

Three people can stay there, but it's really best for a party of two
