Patini Bungalows - Beach Garden

Établissement très agréable et géré par une famille très accueillante. Nous avons passé deux belles journées au soleil malgré la saison des pluies, et avons pu profiter de l’accès direct sur la plage. Le lit était confortable et la douche bien chaude comparé à ce que nous avons pu avoir dans les précédents logements.

Le bungalow étant totalement ouvert, il n’y avait pas de Clim et nous avions un peu chaud. La moustiquaire était trouée et laissait passer les moustiques. En off season, faites attention pour le petit déjeuner qui n’est pas inclu dans l’établissement et les restaurants/café tournent pour la plupart au ralenti.

First of all the reason people go to Tangalle is to relax and do not much. And this was my reason also. Im a middle aged male solo traveler. This place was great for me and would be even better for a couple. I stacked my last 5 nights of my trip in Tangalle to do nothing. So I wanted to splurge a little on my living space and I gotta tell ya these bungalows are beautiful and perfect. I couldn't have been happier with my decision. The grounds are beautiful. It's basically right on the beach and just a 10 min walk down a very safe road to the restaurants. You can get tuktuks also, but I walked this in the dark every night alone. Safe and easy. I loved my bungalow and sitting in the hammock listening to the waves crash on the beach. That's why I went there and that's exactly what I got. Even more, Severine and her husband Daya are just exceptionally kind, warm, and helpful hosts. They love what they do and take great efforts to make sure you love your stay with them. The day I arrived in Tangalle I was pretty burned from days of surfing in Hiriyetiya. Severine brought me a brand new bottle of aloe just to be kind. A few days later I was having a 24 hour fever probably from too much sun and she brought me Tylenol. I had prearranged with her husband Daya a transport from Tangalle to my hotel in Columbo when it was time to leave and that was an easy door to door transfer for me without worrying about buses and tuktuks and trains. They even made it easy for me to pay with a mix of Sri Lankan rupees and US dollars at the end of my stay. They have free clean drinking water as well. They also have coffee pods you can purchase and their machine plus they have a free kettle you can use anytime if you have your own instant coffee like I did. They will also help you book excursions if you choose to do them like a safari for instance. I didn't do that but I had asked them about it and they provided me all the details If I did want to.

Bungaloweneligger praktisk talt på stranden, upåklagelig beliggenhet. De har gratis solsenger, hengekøyer og solstoler. Nydelig beplantning med masse orkideer. Personalet var veldig hyggelige og hjelpsomme. Kommer gjerne tilbake hit!!

Da vi var der var det litt røff sjø, så vi kunne ikke bade i havet utenfor bungalowen.

Изумительное место — красиво, чисто, отличная атмосфера, владельцы очень дружелюбны и отзывчивы. Бунгало находится в пальмовой роще, прямо на берегу океана. Домик оригинально спроектирован, все в нем находится очень продумано и удобно. Кондиционер совсем не нужен, в бунгало всегда свежо и слышен шум волн. Есть бесплатная питьевая вода, общий холодильник и кухня. Из такого замечательно места совсем не хочется уезжать.

Geräumiger, luftiger Bungalow mit vielen Sitz- und Liegeplätzen im Garten und am Strand. Hilfsbereite Gastgeber, Wäscheservice. Viele Restaurants und Spa Angebote in der Umgebung, weitläufiger ruhiger Traumstrand. Wasserspender, Getränke und Snacks verfügbar.

Schwimmen eher schwierig, da starker Wellengang und Strömung.

Notre stop chez Patini a été incroyable. Un bungalow sur la plage où tout a été merveilleusement bien pensé par Séverine et Daya (le balcon, la petite douche pour les pieds, etc) encore merci pour votre accueil chaleureux et tous vos précieux conseils. On accède directement à la mer par un petit chemin joliment arboré, et il y a aussi une petite zone devant Patini pour se rafraîchir. S’endormir avec le bruit de la mer et se réveiller avec le chant des oiseaux… difficile de faire mieux. Un espace est également prévu pour les guests avec un frigo pour ranger quelques produits et des machines à café — que l’on peut déguster directement sur la plage si on le souhaite, un vrai bonheur. L’emplacement est parfait : très calme, tout en étant à quelques minutes à pied des restaurants de Tangalle. Je ne sais pas si c’est Patini, Tangalle… ou les deux, mais cela nous a complètement fait tomber amoureux du Sri Lanka. Encore merci pour tout - c’est certain, nous reviendrons.
